“I don’t think the GOP leaders are cowards, I think they are simply corrupt.”
Nobody could be that cowardly and stupid by accident. They are in on the game.
Reminds you of old wrestling matches where the bad guy pulls out a hammer from his britches and cold cocks and pins the good guy, who then buys him a beer afterward.

The election was shortly after the $700 Billion Bail-Out Coleman voted for, that’s why Franken got votes, Franken said he wouldn’t have voted for it

Actually, what happened is that Coleman simply got outsmarted by Franken. When the Minnesota Supreme Court allowed the campaigns to jointly review the rejected absentee ballots, Franken was only "officially" ahead by 27 votes. What Coleman should have done is simply refused to allow any of the rejected absentee ballots to be counted. But being the idiot that he is, and having the jackasses he had for legal counsel, he allowed ballots to be opened. Franken's team had done the hard work and knew where their votes were; Coleman's team did not. Thus Franken's team agreed to opening rejected absentee ballots in counties they knew were DFL-leaning, and refused to open ballots they knew were R-leaning.
The Minnesota Supreme Court screwed Coleman only in giving him the rope to hang himself. There is no basis in Minnesota law for candidates to review rejected absenetee ballots, particularly in the recount phase. Indeed, that is strictly reserved for the contest phase, with judicial review.
Coleman's team relied on the absentee ballots, when they should have been focusing their attention on the rejected ballots (the ones which were initially rejected because could not discern voter intent). Only by doing this could he have won.

Actually, what happened is that Coleman simply got outsmarted by Franken. What happened was, Coleman tried to take the High Road. He took a knife to a gun fight.
The GOP will never learn.

It appears that the poster was referring to a LGF quote from the WSJ. I wouldn't quote anything written by LGF.

Yes I saw that. Why couldn’t he just cite the WSJ instead of advertising for Chuck?

When are Repubs and independents going to something--or is it too late? See my tagline. Either be prepared to defend your vote using force if necessary, or prepare for more of the same in the future.
Obama showed the Democrats how to steal elections. The rest of us need to be willing to accept the one true method on how to take them back. (Again, see my tagline.)
