Was he saying in this in the context of a hypothetical nuclear weapon or is he confirming Iran has a nuke?

So now I understand why Israel is pushing so hard to expand their settlements. This way you disperse the population & territory making it less concentrated and settlements also create a buffer zones for the major population centers, a strategy which is defensive in nature.

Since Israel has the means to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, with one or two well placed nuclear shots fo their own, I think they would be altogether justified in doing so. After privately offering Iran an ultimatum.

Israel has seaborne nukes. Should the mullahs attempt something so stupid, Iran would cease to be inhabitable.
If Israel believes that then they should pre-emptively strike Iran.
Nukes are only good for prevention when you believe the other side does not wish to be nuked.

Another person with a poor understanding of nuclear impacts. Pakistan’s top nukes are only about 10-25 kilotons. Iran is still developing nukes. A one MEGAton (1000 kT) bast merely damages buildings and people at a radius of 4 miles. Israel is 8 miles wide at its narrowest point, but one BIG nuke cannot “wipe out” the entire country, and the odds are good that Iran’s first nukes will not be in the high-yield range.
I’m a bit skeptical about that.

And the Iranian missile (or more likely, some other method of nuclear attack) that hits Iran will be denied by Iran. They’ll just say someone stole their weapon.

IMHO, the only thing that has kept Iran from firing a nuke into Israel is that they know it will get shot down.
The problem is that Iran will not nuke Israel directly. They will let one of their proximes do it. And, of course, the UN would urge the remnants of the Israeli government to exercise “restraint”.
What the world keeps forgetting is that the surest way to induce chaos, destruction, and holocaust is through appeasement. If you appease evil, it will quickly grow and be a lot harder to eventually deal with. The likes of Obama and Hillary are beholden only to their own perogatives and (wishful fantasies). They are immune to the lessons of history. As a result, they will doom us all to WWIII. Its coming.
Remember, islam is a cult of death... I seem to recall reading that one of the iranian mullahs saying that losing 50 or 60 million muslims would be worthwhile in order to kill all the Jews and destroy Israel.

And remember that Iranians are NOT arabs, and they get quite upset if you call them that. Iranians are Persians. There is no love lost between the two, which is one of the reasons that the saudis are so fearful of Iran.

We need to disarm Iran now. Israel will take out the Iranians Nuke site. The whole arab world will be cheering under their breath for Israel to do it. The arab world knows that Irans Nukes would probably have a faulty guidance system and take out not only Israel but the countries around it.
That and the fact they don’t currently have one.
I suspect that if Iran had nuclear weapons they would use it to blackmail their neighbors before starting a conflict with Israel that will have grave consequences for them.
In any event, I don’t think Israel can afford to rely on wishful thinking.
Israel should be very clear about Iranian nukes. Clear that retaliation will not be limited to Iran, but all Muslim nations. That in the matter of a few hours, most of the Muslims of the world will be annihilated.
Mecca and Medina will be destroyed, and with dirty bombs that will make the area uninhabitable for hundreds or thousands of years. (Most fallout from a typical nuclear weapon is decays after only two weeks). And with those cities, all the other great religious sites of Islam.
Iran, though, will be worst hit, as will Damascus. An effort to eliminate all human life. Persia will be no more.
It's one of many breadcrumbs being laid down one by one on the trail to Israel taking out Iran's nuke facilities and whatever else ends up being in the way. This serves as a statement Israel can point to in the future as the point where the U.S. continued to do nothing on behalf of the world after hearing the clearest expression of Israel's fears of complete destruction, and therefore Israel had to.
Neutron bombs or XRAY lasers(another term for the same thing) kill living matter while leaving buildings and structures standing with very little lingering radiation. Areas could be resettled in a matter of weeks or months.

I seem to remember an explosion in the Indian Ocean years ago they ultimately pinned on Israel testing one decades ago.

However, nuclear weapons do NOT poison the earth for centuries as some believe. Hiroshima and Nagasaki both have visible signs of the bombs that were used there, but those signs have been carefully preserved as memorials, and are visited by thousands of adults and children daily without any ill effects from their proximity to “ground zero.”
Of course, Arab hatred of Palestinians doesn't stop many of those airing it from using the Palestinian's plight as a vehicle through which to express and to legitimize insane hatred of Jews. Absolutely. The Official, and loudly proclaimed policy should be the complete annihilation of all mulsim "holy" places.
