Why Do You Dislike Sarah Palin?
7/4/2009 | USAHOME

Posted on 07/04/2009 8:38:11 AM PDT by USAHOME

When my daughter came to me and told me her friends on Facebook were saying horrible things about Sarah Palin, I told her to get back online and ask them specifically why they were calling Sarah Palin names. Not one of them replied—they had no answer. They don’t know why they hate her, but they just do.

Sarah Palin did nothing wrong to these people, or to the rest of the United States. If she had a ‘D’ after her name, she’d be hailed a hero in the mainstream media. However, just because she stands for what’s right in America, believes in making our country energy independent (which is a GREAT thing), and believes that special needs children are a gift from God...but that makes her a bad person? I don’t understand what these people are thinking—other than they’re NOT thinking.

My goal is for just ONE person to actually think with their own mind instead of believing what they’re told to believe. If just one of these ‘friends’ of my daughter were actually forced to face the facts, with no political party behind Sarah Palin’s name, I’m certain they wouldn’t hate the woman. She’s more American than any of these people who are hating her in the mainstream media. I also think if these people were to actually research the facts on some of the people who were elected, whether eligible or not for their offices, they’d think twice about who they voted for and would join with the people who do use their brains.

I feel like I’m living in the Matrix. Just take the blue pill and everything will be wonderful, even though bad things are going on behind the scenes. Personally, I choose the red pill…and make informed choices. Oh yeah…and with those informed choices, I choose to like Sarah Palin. I wish I had half the guts she did, and were willing to stand up for what’s right, regardless of the consequences.

Palin AND the conservatives in 2012…I think our country would be a better place.

Happy Fourth of July! God Bless America!

It is often VERY helpful to ask a liberal WHY they hate someone on our side.

My cousin once started spouting off again Ronald Reagan being the worst president ever, and all I did was ask him WHY? and after 5 minutes of not beaing able to answer, he realized he needed to learn something.. he is now a heavy duty republican!!

Liberals and DemonRATs are truly the lowest life forms on the planet. They thrive on spouting lies and negative propaganda. They get away with it because they've convinced many people that they are “cool”. I always maintain that character assassins talk trash about the targets of their derision because they themselves have a big empty hole in their character that they need to fill, they just choose to fill it with hate.

It's just a fact of life in 21st Century America. Union run public school systems have dumbed-down the population to the point they don't have the knowledge or the skills to draw their own opinions or conclusions and simply take at face value what the MSM tells them. Add to that that she threatens the gravy train that over half of Americans now get in the form of government handouts and you have an impossible situation.

Sadly there are enough Americans now slopping at the public trough to control elections. These leaches are not going to let anyone who threatens their way of life get in office.

We are at, or maybe even past, the tipping point for America as our grandparents knew it. Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama and Al Franken wouldn't have stood a snowball's chance in hell of being elected just 50 years ago. Now they are done deals. Add Reid and Pelosi and a few others to that mix and you have the recipe for disaster.

We have out work cut out for us and it's not going to be easy.

Agree. I also think this applies to many of the Dems.

Take a look at Henry Waxman for example. He fills his emptiness by imposing pain on others.........

If the majority of these people met her on the street, and didn’t know anything about her, her beliefs, or her political background, I’d bet they’d like her. Most of them are ignorant though, and like being told who to hate by the press. Frankly, I’m enjoying watching them all go into apoplectic seizures trying to figure out why she resigned.

I have nothing against Sarah Palin. She seems to be a real conservative and morally a good person.

I do not feel, nor have I ever felt that Sarah was ready for prime time, dog eat dog, party line, inside the beltway political games.

She would have her cake eaten by these political weasels / sharks on the national stage.

Maybe finishing her term as Governor, then run for the house or senate to gain experience on the national scene....then enter the fray.

Otherwise, I just think she'd be eaten alive.

You know they(FOX) did something with Glenn Beck’s recent book where they took its ideas and without citing the author, asked a bunch of liberals if they agreed with the notions of reduced spending and reduction of waste...ect. They all to a person agreed. Then they they were told they just agreed with Glenn Beck and they all acted like they had just
rubbed up against a leper’s pustilent lesions yet confused at the same time. One British lady living NYC was sure she
couldn’t be in agreement with Beck “He is what we say in Britain, an Essex lad”

We conservatives are up against an entrenched Satanically controlled mind-set and history records horrific accounts as to what God does to break up such group mind think.

He thought Sarah was a quitter and there had to be a scandal behind it all.She “couldn’t take the heat”.
Not one of the people interviewed thought just maybe Sarah was telling the truth when she said she was spending 80% of the people’s time and money fighting ethics charges.
This is how the Dems win.We as Republicans/conservatives appear to be too stupid to notice they are taking the good ones down, one at a time.

Good for you, to make them think about (assuming they’re actually capable of thought).

An interesting exercise along the same lines might be to describe her, without indentifying her—leaving out the obvious descriptions like “governor of Alaska etc., but just listing things like her charisma, leadership abilities, how she somehow manages to take care of family AND work, and that she inspires so many people, and so on. Then ask them if they would vote for such a person. THEN hit them with who you’re describing.

This is my answer posted before the election:

And this messianic allusion brings me to the main problem which Sarah Palin confronts in structuring her image. It is the Billy Budd effect. If you recall your Melville, you will know that Billy Budd was a figure of good whose very presence antagonized the first mate who persecuted Billy Budd unmercifully. The mate was driven to do this unconsciously because the mate was a figure of evil. The mate had his demons. So it is with the left in America today, they are driven to a visceral hatred of Sarah Palin because she is the 21st century figure of Billy Budd. Sarah Palin committed an unforgivable affront, she knowingly carried a Mongoloid to term. This cannot be forgiven. This is the ultimate reproach to the entire belief system of the left. Sarah Palin need not even open her mouth and she is hated with a cold and unremitting fury.

This is why I said that the left hates Sarah Palin not for what she says or how she appears on television but for who she is. The left must react as evil always reacts in the presence of good. Like the second mate, they must persecute Sarah Palin and they do not even know why.

It was entertaining to hear the pundits at CNN try to give reasons for Sarah Palin quitting the governorship of Alaska.
I'm sure the reason (s) will soon be expressed by Sarah but in the meantime you will hear the pundits opine as they are so
geared to do. They cannot accept that what you see in Sarah is what you get. That's unheard of in a politician, it can't be so, she must have some hidden agenda in everything she says and does. It just shows how jaded we have become as a society when we cannot accept a straight forward presentation
such a Sarah gave. They just have to analyze it to bits. Of course the fact that she's a Republican just might have something to do with their incessant yammering. I think the whole thing with Sarah and the Liberal media is based on the fact that they just cannot believe anyone can be so honest and straight forward, particularly anyone in politics. Anyone who says “gee” or “gosh” must be suspect.
Our politicians are just too sophisticated to say things like that, However they aren't too sophisticated not to lie, cheat, steal and do any number of “sophisticated” things.
I better stop my rant or I'll be pegged as one of those nutty right wing Republicans. If it's good enough for Sarah, it's good enough for me.

She represents an attractive female, mother and wife that all women can relate to besides being a powerful CEO. She was raised in an western small-time environment where she demonstrated there were endless opportunities competing in a man’s world. She can hunt, fish, and trap with the best. She wound her way through the political morass and became a CEO of one of the very few states that don’t have economic problems and a nominee to the Veep position. She had her finger on the pulse of oil exploration. She has a husband and family and her personal problems are widely known but she has handled them with grace and charm. She’s been very successful and that’s scary to the RATS. And when her family is attacked by the wealthy leftists elitists, she’s a tiger. Tell me what mother wouldn’t when your children are hurt. She has more experience than the idiot & m’idiot that presently occupy the WH. SHE’S A THREAT BECAUSE OF THE ABOVE. Since Day 1, mainstream media, the lapdog of demoncRATS in Alaska & nationwide, have been tearing her to shreds because the RATS fear her and her capabilities. RATS thrive on fear mongering with lapdogs leading the way.

I think we need to start calling them out--

Ask them: "Do you hate Sarah Palin because she created out of control state deficits for Alaska so we the taxpayers need to bail them out, because she is responsible for making the price of oil so high with her anti-drill policies even though Alaska is awash in oil, or because she advocates the killing of innocent babies up until the moment they are born?"

Ten to one, they'll agree that she is to be hated for those things...then let the sputtering begin.

It’s a good thing we have a forum like this to vent. Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air, the like of which is seldom if ever seen in politics. I have been astonished at the epithets thrown at her by left leaning liberal lemmings. I read one post that said She was ugly, another said she was stupid, and on and on. Perky Katie curick did a hatchet job on her and katie couldn’t tie Sarah’s shoes. It has often been said and we all know it’s dead true, If she were a Democrat they would throw roses at her feet. Most probably they hate her because they have been indoctrinated by the publik skools and the entertainment industry to hate freedom loving people.

The best thing we can do is get the federal gumment completely out of education and drive a big wooden stake in the self-esteem movement. The whole thing turns them into a pack of zombies always seeking acceptance, which the left usually defines the terms of.

This whole self-esteem stuff is the most diabolical teaching that has ever been sprung on the world. It will continue to erode America, creating mindless, arrogant, narcissistic, socialist chattel; without any accomplishments nor ability to think rationally enough to understand their serfdom. It’s the Matrix without the wires.

They dislike her because its trendy. Trends die. It will pass.

Exactly. But I'm not sure it will die until the opinion leaders give the signal.

The power libs hate her because she is a threat to them. But the ordinary person or young girl hates her because Saturday Night Live and David Letterman have indicated that it's the fashionable thing to look down on her.

I suspect that's especially true of the girls. I still remember my school days. Boys tend to follow each others' leads, and those who are the leaders always have followers. But the girls were always much more catty, and it was much more important to them to be associated with the popular girls and to despise the unpopular ones. Boys beat each other up; girls put each other down.

Sarah has been designated an "unpopular girl" by the fashion leaders, and that's a much more powerful propaganda ploy than any kind of political argument.

"She's not one of us," they say to each other. "Ha, ha, I'm better than she is!" And so forth. It's not a rational process.

In my opinion, they're either 1) liberal trolls or 2) trying to take advantage of any negative slant they can in order to benefit their favored lesser candidate (think Mitt, Huck or others).

Either intentionally or unintentionally, conservatives have ceded the education and entertainment industries to liberals and socialist. The two elements of society that have the most interaction with our children, are also the most profoundly liberal groups of people in the country.

In the 60's, when I was in grade school, my teachers rarely made political statements or comments. In fact, I really can't look back and point to any grade school leftists. But, a generation later, I watched my oldest child get showered with all manner of leftist indoctrination; textbooks, teachers and multi-media. My wife and I dug deep and worked hard to move our kids to a private school, and I thank myself everyday that we did.

This is a challenge that I'm not quite sure how conservatives will overcome - How to beat back the leftist forces in the entertainment and education industries? Very perplexing.

This week when it was confirmed that Walmart was in bed with the socialist administration and their unions and health care schemes, I was disgusted and disappointed and very let down. If the largest private employer in this nation cannot hold out against the anti American forces that have been unleashed through Obama and his handlers, why should anybody expect a mere American born citizen to ruin her life butting her head against them? It is typical of these bullies, and in fact an integral part of their takeover pattern, to hack away at any person or thing that stands in their way. Sarah said she had completed her goals and would be speaking out for any candidate, any party or no party, who wanted what was best for our country. I hope she realizes that if a candidate runs as a democrat and wins, they will do exactly what their party requires, which is to support their socialist anti American goals. Ssrah is not a quitter, she is a finisher. Now she can also be a starter for those politically leaderless American citizens who are willing to work for restoration of our freedoms and independence.
