Jose Compean and his family were guests of the Temecula California Republican Assembly. The California Republican Assembly have been contact supporters of Ramos and Compean.

Jose answered questions and expressed his gratitude for everyone's support. He noted the prison officials were as supportive as they could be. His mail was read by a supervisor and one day he got over 300 letters and it supervisor told him it took over six hours to read the mail. The supervisor told Compean it was good to see the American People rallying around him.
He states that much happened in the trial that is still not public knowledge, that he hopes will come out in court in the future.
He did report that the DEA reports of Davila subsequent arrested were presented to the Prosecuting Attorney. The DEA told the Prosecuting Attorney that their case against Ramos and Compean was in trouble, but the Prosecuting Attorney did not advise Ramos and Compean's attorney until just before the trial. The trial was flagged at the DEA and anyone accessing it would be fired.
He also recounted their suprise when the Prosecuting Attorney stated in her closing arguments that the situation at the border was so bad Ramos and Compean had "turned on one of the their own." Ramos and Compean exchanged confused looks with their attorneys. Compean's first thought was "What is she talking about? We did not shoot a Border Patrol Agent."
Compean and his family were in the Temecula 4th of July Parade today. California Assemblyman Joel Anderson, whose district includes Campo, CA.

God Bless...that little guy looks like a young Sean hannity!
sooooo cute!
What a beautiful picture.
To this day I have difficulty understanding how people in leadership and judicial roles in this nation could do such injustice to these men and their families. Even in this article it is noted suppression of information occurred to the detriment of the men prosecuted to the advantage of the drug runner.
This happened under the Bush watch and no matter what is ever written about W, this injustice will linger in my mind no matter what else is written about the man. Both of these men deserve full pardons, but knowing the involvement of the current president with LaRaza (pro-illegal immigration), it's highly unlikely he would jeopardize his "standing" with activists who helped elect him.
Most excellent! Thanks for all your work, LadyCalif!
Compean ping!
You said it all, MamaDearest....
God bless these men and their families...
Funny, these two guys look Hispanic. I thought all us Republicans HATED Hispanics and therefore shouldn’t have had a problem with them being in jail.
...or at least that’s what the Dems tell the Hispanics.
God bless those two.
The look American to us. And our country needs more people like these 2 brave people.
It blows my mind how W would let this happen like it did. W did some things right but R&C is something that will always tarnish him in my mind. I am very glad that they are both out of prison.
I wish I could express to all of you in words his gratitude for all of everyone’s support.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

LC, are these your pics or there’s a link to find these pics? Thanks.
BUMP.
Bless them.
Amen!...and thank-you!
They are mine - you may copy them if you wish.
Ok thanks, I was just curious. BTW, I tried Googling it and your thread came up on the 1st page :)
Thanks for sharing this event with us. I prayed for those agents, especically around Christmas when I was so sad that these good men were missing precious time with their young children.
Bush was 100 percent wrong to have let the agents go through this injustice. They were doing their difficult jobs, and got thrown in prison for it. There is no excuse Bush can make for that. His leaving our borders open is another unforgiveable offense. After 9-11 he should have issued an executive order to seal both borders. But he was too interested in keeping cheap labor spilling across the borders, to interested in making friends with democrats, to busy killing the republican party with his reaching across the isle to the likes of Ted Kennedy.
Mr.Compean has a lovely family. What a shame liars in the government separated him from his family for so long.
Sutton (the evil prosecutor) went into business in a lawfirm with John Ashcroft (former Attorney General). He represents the Austin TX branch. Frankly, the whole deal sounds pretty kinky, and I cannot imagine what a dunce like Sutton could possibly bring to any major league lawfirm - see: http://www.statesman.com/news/content/news/stories/local/04/25/0425suttonashcroft.html
Obama was not likely to let these guys out of jail.
Ping!
G.W. Bush was, for the most part, a moral coward, when it came to sticking up for true American heroes like Ramos, and Compeon.
His buddy, who was the District Attorney, should’ve never brought those charges against them.
We pay a penalty, every day, for stupid sh!t like that.
They were interupting the drug flow, so, sutton was ordered to put them away by the drug lords, or maybe even by bush. Nothing would surprise me from these scumassed politicians, AND that even includes BUSH!!!
I agree with your summation.
He was too busy being PC more than anything, if the interlopers were white Ukranians he’d have deported them all
Whatever the reason I am glad they are out. As an average joe, I fail to comprehend the love illegal aliens from a practical standpoint. All of it is political I know. Politics and common sense are polar opposites these days.
Thanks!
I was W’s biggest fan, for a while. Then I saw through the Compassionate Conservative BS.
Add to my list of major complaints...how about drilling for our own oil Bushie? No? Couldn’t do it? Thanks for the 150 a barrel oil last year then. Thanks for the 70 a barrel we’ve seen, and it’s only going up with The Usurper in power. He wants us to run the country on fairy dust. As a matter of national security to protect us from the islamic oil jerks, Bush should have mandated we drill everywhere in the homeland so we don’t rely on, or even send money to our enemies. But no, he couldn’t do that either.
I don’t even want to see Bush speak in person anymore. Even if he’s a half hour from here, not going. Don’t care.
However, now that Sarah is going to be free soon, I will drive a long way to see her speak. She’s gonna get ‘er done.
She’s on a mission from God.
Ditto:”God bless the Ramos and Compeon families”
