Let me tell you something. Sarah Palin scares the living sh*t of of Leftist liberals. They bought into the whole women’s lib NOW bullsh*t, thinking that for a woman to succeed in a man’s world, she had to either be better than a man, or tear him down to your level.
They are horrified that a strong woman actually enjoys being a housewife, believing that it’s not her choice when it comes to the life of the unborn , that a child deserves a father and a mother, and to be the best woman she can be is to be the best wife, mother, and servant to the Lord she can be.
Now, THAT’s the future of America.
In other news, she is also not PRESENTLY under investigation for murder, rape and grand theft auto. But we’re checking those sources out.
I hope she goes after Celtic Diva with every legal tool she can get her hands on. I am sure there are a few lawyers in Alaska that would be willing to donate some pro-bono time and energy.

Beyond comical. Okay, let me give you some idea of why I feel the way I do. I work at night because I have an 18 month old baby. I post to Free Republic when I get the chance...and often MAKE chances these days because my country is at risk and I feel it is important to reach out to as many people as I can, Conservatives especially, because we are going to need each other more and more in the days to come.
I own ...gasp...GUNS which I make sure are clean AND loaded at all times. I don't hunt because I don't need to, but if I had to, I could because I am a deadass shot whether the target is moving or pinned to a tree. I can skin a deer and cook venison that is so tender it falls apart and melts in your mouth.
I fish to relax and can bone a rainbow trout in seconds flat, clean it, grill it, and eat it before the hour is up.
I cook and bake from scratch because I don't like the taste of cardboard, and I am college educated, earning my first four year degree in two years, though I had a full academic scholarship, with a consistent 4.0 GPA.
And I do these things because I WANT to, because that is who I am, and I don't take anything from anyone, including college professors who could have penalized me, because when one tried, (an atheist teaching Bioethics whose father was a Nazi,) for believing in the human soul, I had him relegated to a basement closet.
The Chair of my department advised me to play the game, go along until I graduated, and I said hell no. I will NOT go along to get along. I didn't do it yesterday, don't do it today, and will not do it tomorrow.
I am vehemently anti-abortion and just as vehemently pro-death penalty. NONE of that makes me "special." It just makes me ME.
There are countless women in this country who do far more whom you never see or hear about. They rear families. Some homeschool. Some work the land right along with their men. Some build and some design. Some are doctors and lawyers. Some write. But each and every one of them do what they do because that is who THEY are, and they have the right to brag, but they don't because for them, it's natural as breathing.
We don't look for messiahs and saviours. But every once in a great while, some of these women have a spark so strong, that even if they never sought the world's attention, it comes out of the blue like a bolt of lightning. THOSE women become heroes. Margaret Thatcher was one of them. Golda Meir was one of them. Sarah Palin is one of them.
Normally, I get very little sleep. The sleep I do get is fitful because what is happening to my country, and other parts of the world, has a cause. That cause is the purest form of evil I have ever seen. I wasn't alive for Hitler, but I am living through obama, and everything in history tells me the madness that was Nazi Germany is relentlessy repeating itself with every moment that obama remains in power. I fear this.
He is a muslim. I have said it before. His election was a decapitation strike and his goal is the end of the United States of America,
John McCain was the candidate the thugs who control obama chose as OUR candidate. He threw the election as sure as GOD made little green apples. It was a set up from the gitgo.
His choice of Sarah Palin was supposed to insure his defeat. I was one of very few who knew of, and admired, Sarah Palin long before she ever became the VP candidate. When she saw something wrong, instead of sitting at home whining about it, she threw herself in the ring and she DID something about it.
She defeated corrupt officials in her own party. She defeated the left. She took on all comers and said you will do the right thing or you will do NO THING.
Sarah Palin was NOT a professional politician, and never did anything for personal power. Unlike the "wimmin" from NOW and NARAL, I admire women who are strong and decent and self-reliant.
But McCain was not ready for Sarah. He was not ready for the Conservatives who came out of their caves and opened their checkbooks to SARAH. He was not prepared for the way his poll numbers skyrocketed because of SARAH. And he was not prepared to WIN, so he and his staff, as much as the left, set out to destroy her.
But Sarah's light would not fade. So they began limiting her, trying to script her, and when THAT didn't work either, McCain just stopped campaigning period. And STILL hundreds and thousands of people turned out to see SARAH.
She received more scrutiny in one day than obama has yet to receive from the media after years.
obama is a criminal, a thug. Sarah is one of the most decent people on earth. Her core values show in her family and in her work, and in everything she does. She is the quintessential AMERICAN WOMAN and she is a HERO. To me, to many other women I know, and to many men as well.
Do you understand the difference between a hero and a messiah?
For you to suggest or claim that we support her on blind faith the way obama's followers support him is ridiculous and insulting.
obama is evil. What he is doing to this country, and by extension the world, is evil. One counters evil with good. Sarah Palin is GOOD and we have not seen her like in a great many years.

Thank you for proving my point. An total unknown, with experience as the mayor of a small town, and who resigned from the governorship before even completing the first term, and she is “one of the most decent people on earth”? Just about everything you said is exactly the kind of projection - making her out to be whatever it is you want her to be - I and others are referring to. This is not to say that she is a very good person - I’m fairly certain that she is. Yes, obama is a fraud and a thug, that much is obvious, but this doesn’t by default mean that Palin is the second coming of Ronald Reagan who will come to the rescue.
I’m not saying that she wouldn’t be a good president. I’m not even saying that I wouldn’t vote for her if she did decide to run. However I will still need to get to know her a lot better, and see a lot more of her than the handful of speeches and interviews she has given since late last summer before making any type of rational judgment on her. It seems though that this does not hold the same for many people since projecting ones own ideals, traits, and hopes on a relatively blank slate such as Palin (and I use that term in reference to her limited time period of national exposure) is quite an easy thing to do.
Evidently you didn’t notice the part where I said I was well aware of her long before she came into the national spotlight. I had actually discussed her many times with friends of mine. When McCain was looking at VP candidates, we were hoping he would pick Palin but weren’t sure if he even knew who whe was.
We were shocked, but pleasantly surprised, when he made his announcement.
Like I said, for you to insinuate that we are supporting her on blind faith is insulting. There is no “projecting” here but for yours, which seems to suggest that we are all braindead except for you.

Don’t watch network news at all anymore. It is absolute crap. So many stupid people talking about stuff they don’t know a thing about.
Lump Fox in with them all. They should go back to Michael Jackson coverage, but they weren’t even good at that.
Most people in the belt way are faltering and weak. That town is controlled by the hounds of hell. There isn’t anyone left there with an actual soul. That is why we cannot understand what goes on in that cesspool.
