Oh yeah, and how much you want to bet Huff Po starts to crack down on the articles allowed on their site.
If they are going to be allowed to question the President as a press representative, then they are under the same responsibility as the others.
I’d admire your “high road” approach. But I’ve not seen that work any over the last decade.
LOL! Reminds me of the old MAD magazine, "It Ain't Braggin' If It's True Department."
Sarah is a warrior, and in turn we need to have her back. I'm trying to do my part with my liberal friends who just can't help themselves with their idiotic Palin Derangement Syndrome. (Luckily, I have much more in common with my lib friends than politics and I love them, really. But PDS is PDS.)
Seriously, Kristinn, you are one of the true shining lights here on FR. I'd have gone completely nuts without FR. I salute your efforts in general and admire the heck out of you.
I can’t find an email here either, but you might find it interesting.
I totally agree. Of those you list, only Clarence Thomas really fought back... now he’s SCOTUS for life. mwaa-haa-haa!!
////quote//// The condition is also called Downs Syndrome because it was an English doctor with the last name of Down who classified the condition.
At the Special Olympics I read a newsletter or other publication where they said that they actually preferred it to be called “Down Syndrome” now. I’m just telling you what they said.
I don’t understand, personally, why they said that. Also, I don’t understand why they made it sound almost like it would be _better_ to call it “Down Syndrome,” as if the possessive (traditional) phrase had almost been offensive. If my memory serves me correctly.
I think I prefer the traditional way.
Thanks, that’s interesting .. I don’t think I’ve ever heard that before.
I agree - I like the traditional version better too.
There does appear to be a correlation between the Democrats and discrimination and ridicule against the defenseless. And it’s things such as this that brings the Obama Special Olympics joke right up to mind.
That was my first thought.
Bingo-fuel, pally. For later read. Take care, bud .......... FRegards
What I want to know is what were on the commments after that article? Were they denouncing then?
