Local NPR station (KERA) was less than honest about reporting on the Tea Party. Called the attendees 'confused'.

We're scaring the crap out of the left.

I live within a few miles of SF and the traffic was heavy. I did not attend, but I know many that did.

CBS 11’s Narrisa Knight, referred to the attendees as, radical protestors, during a newscast yesterday.

And the coverage, as usual, has been just overwhelming (sarc).

Called the attendees 'confused'

Yeah, right. Let me say something about these people that I was born among, grew up with and in my late 60s, spent a lifetime with. The only "confused" Texans I've seen might be a hold-out liberal, a transplant from CA who wants to create HOAs so that they can tell people what color to paint their condos or a gutless politician trying to figure out Sarah Palin.

Other than that, the only confusion I'm seeing are whether to use 5.56 or 7.62 during any difficulties.

An estimated crowd of 25,000 to 35,000 people attended the Independence Day tea party...

Now *THAT* is what I call a "secession-sized" turnout!

To be honest, the NPR lackey doing the reporting was probably projecting. He sounded overwhelmed. Keep in mind, most of those guys hang out on Oak Lawn.

They are obviously wetting panties and having a nervous breakdown.

CBS 11’s Narrisa Knight, referred to the attendees as, radical protestors, during a newscast yesterday.

"Watch what you say, or they'll be calling you a radical..."

Can "fanatical, criminal" be far behind?

Personally, I prefer "insurrectionist".

7.62x39, BTW. No confusion here. Little commie bastards had a good round, and Kalashnikov. You take results where you find them.

And the coverage, as usual, has been just overwhelming (sarc).

DallasNews.com, the website for the newspaper The Dallas Morning News, gave it a whopping five lines. However, I believe someone is still in possession of their sanity at the DMN as this was the last sentence;

The event had been billed as the largest tea party in the nation, and some organizers had said the crowd could reach 50,000.

Fifty thousand eh?

I bet that is going to make little zerø stay up late at night.

Wear the badge with honor:

RADICAL also means: to make drastic reforms in society as it is

“Radical” protestors is correct in that meaning of the word....Go for it!

HAHAHAHA!! Yes, 25,000 to 35,000 people managed to make it to a Tea Party and somehow every last one of them were ‘confused’.

You are right, we are scaring the hell out of them. They see that they have crossed that invisible line that they convinced themselves didn’t exist.

Thanks for the smile. I love, “insurrectionist,” but I would label mayself as: “Patriot and insurrectionist.”

Yes, it’s in Parker, Texas, just east of Plano and about ten or fifteen miles from the city of Dallas. It’s the place you see from the air in the series’ opening credits, and they used to film exteriors there.

Now it is rented out for meetings and events. Years ago we had the Blue & GOld Banquet for my boys’ Cub Scout Pack there a couple times.

I was at the Southfork (Dallas) Teaparty and the estimates appear to be fairly accurate at 25,000 to 35,000.
