MIAMI — Police say a Florida teenager who is accused of killing more than a dozen cats in two south Miami neighborhoods fits the profile of a sociopath.
In the 10-page arrest affidavit for Tyler Hayes Weinman, police said they tracked the 18-year-old’s car electronically and traced his cell phone before charging him with the crimes. The affidavit was unsealed today, the same day Weinman was formally arraigned in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.

The “Header” when this story about a cat killeR was covered on News 4 (Wash DC) this morning read:
“SUSPECTED CAT KILLED IN COURT”
I think THAT story would be more interesting than the real one.
He should have stuck with unborn babies and no one would call him a sociopath. Or charged him with a crime.
When did cops become psychiatrits?
They only SUSPECTED it was a cat?
Hmmm...
EXACTLY. That’s what is so interesting about it.
Who first suspected it was a cat? Also, who killed it?
What was the motive for the killing?
When did the suspected cat enter the courtroom.
Where did the suspected cat come from?
Why did they only SUSPECT it was cat; why weren’t they sure it was a cat?
I’d like answers to these questions; but all News 4 did was talk about some sick teenager in Florida who apparently killed a bunch of cats (NONE of them in a courtroom).

When Igor was in Saudi Arabia, he was in the souk one day, and two Saudi policemen grabbed an arm and walked him to the town plaza, where a large crowd was gathered.
They took him to the front of the crowd where a Korean national was kneeling. There was a swordsman with a HUGH scimitar, and another man behind the Korean with a long stick.
The Korean was all hunched up with his hands behind his back as a Mullah walked around the circle of people three times, reading from a scroll. When there was no response from any in the crowd, the man with the stick jabbed the Korean in the small of the back, at which time he straightened up. Just in time for the executioner to cut off his head.
There is something to be said for Saudi/Yemeni justice.
It was only later that Igor learned the Korean had raped and killed a 16 year old girl. Igor was brought to the display so he could spread the word of justice.

Maybe the cat killer wouldn’t be looking so smug if he knew his punishment would be that severe.
Here’s hoping that the cat slaughter will stop, and that this sociopath is put away for a very long time, if not for good. I’m not sure that a sociopath can be rehabilitated. It’s sort of like pedophilia as far as the recidivism rate, IIRC.
Yeah, I suspect that in a few years we’ll be hearing about this guy as a serial killer. Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll Darwinize himself first.
He obviously thinks he’ll get a slap on the wrist. Maybe he hasn’t figured out that he’s a legal adult and the system is playing hardball now.
I dunno - when he gets to prison some MS-13 types might think that he’s a lot of fun.
What a sick @$$hole! If this had been any of my kitties I’d have went after him with a baseball bat. What extreme? No just making it more equal like he went after small beings the size of a human infant.
Bet he loses that smirk the first day in prison. He won’t be early as tough there.

I hope he has a conservative judge. I also hope he’s put in with the MS-13/Sorenyos. They may be mean, but they have a code:no women, no innocents. A cat is about as innocent as a newborn, but they will always stay that way.
Really, people, the wishes of violence to another human over dead cats is not very pretty. Yeah, he’s a scumbag, but don’t lower yourselves to his level.

I can understand the anger at the loss of a pet, I’d be very upset if something happened to my Dawg.
