What I saw Sarah Palin do was to state that she was not going to run for re-election as Govenor of Alaska. That statement made her a Lame Duck govenor. She then went on to say that she did not want to be a Lame Duck govenor and did not want Alaska to have a lame duck govenor, so she stepped down and turned the Govenorship over to the Lieutenant Govenor who IS running for Election as Govenor of Alaska, therefore he is NOT a lame duck govenor and now Alaska has a non lame duck govenor. It possibly helps the Lt.Govenor (now govenor) get a head start on the next election cycle because he will be facing the election as the incumbent, and may help keep Alaska in republican hands.

What is there beyond that? Am I missing something? Maybe. Maybe she will form some kind of Team Palin and go “all in”, moving to the lower 48 with her kids and husband in tow and fight the good fight against the Commies and other dark creeping corruption that is trying to take our country away from us.

But I think it was for Alaska first.

Yep.

Amazing how one only has to read what she said, to see what she meant.

Meanwhile, pundits and, yes, elitists, of both parties are going bonkers because it ISN’T POSSIBLE that a politician would jeopardize their own career for the good of their state. THAT kind of thinking is just… wrong.

Isn’t it?
