Posted on 07/07/2009 4:13:29 PM PDT by GOPGuide
Jeb Bush will be back in DC this week to present a Council on Foreign Relations-sponsored report on immigration policy that calls for a path to legalization for illegal immigrants -- a position shared by his brother, former president George W. Bush.
The task force -- co-chaired by Bush and Mack McLarty, former President Bill Clinton's chief of staff -- argues that "the failure to reform immigration laws and procedures threatens to harm America's economy, jeopardize its diplomacy, and weaken its national security."
The report urges Congress and the Obama administration to undertake a new effort with three central components: "the creation of a more efficient legal immigration system that responds to labor market needs and enhances U.S. competitiveness; a strong enforcement regime that secures U.S. borders and ends the hiring of unauthorized workers; and a program of earned legalization that will offer an opportunity for many illegal immigrants to earn the right to remain in the United States."
I’m shocked ... well, then again, I’m not.
The sellout of Americans continues. Looks like we need another push. Out-of-work Americans, an economy in big trouble, insane deficits ...
And guys like this want to reward illegal immigration ...
What say ye, Americans?
Lord, Spare us from these horrible people.
Death, Taxes, and Bushes pushing Amnesty.
What a surprise./S
....What say ye, Americans?...
Buck Fush. All of three of ‘em.
One Worlders All!
The failure to ENFORCE immigration laws...
Jeb can kiss my ass.
If he wants credibility, he can demand that the laws of our nation are enforced. Other than that, he can go stick his head in the sand, if he can get it out of where it is now.
“New World Order” - Stigmata
Rat fink traitor!!
“New World Order - Stigmata”
Bush Disease........no known cure.
Forgetabout it, Jeb.
Just putting our 12-20 million illegals on a path to citezenship will no doubt include chain migration, which would produce 10’s of millions of new citizens. This would swamp our system. If all we need them for is cheap labor, then maybe we should create a better guest worker program (after our unemployment problems go away).
If amnesty is achieved, I can see no way it won’t destroy our country as we know it.
“If amnesty is achieved, I can see no way it wont destroy our country as we know it.”
Chain migration, and we are finished.
Jeb for President.
This is another reason to keep my wallet shut, Chairman Steele!
I’m shocked. 19 replies so far, and not one comment about Jeb’s wife or children.
I haven't yet, but I plan to. Does he talk about the fact that McCain's stand on the issue got him nada from Hispanic voters in 2008?
We're hanging from a cliff by a fingernail as it is. It's not going to take much to finish us off.
It's not a political blindspot. Jeb knows exactly what he's doing.
Globalism, liberalism and corporate cronyism is part of the essence of the Bush family. They come from Northeastern Rockefeller liberal stock, and they're nothing like the organic southern conservatives that they pretend to be when it's convenient for them.
I live in Florida, and watched this prick grab 65,000 acres of private property, then flood it with nasty swampwater for the Everglades "Restoration" project. He said he was doing it to preserve nature for "future generations," but in reality it was designed by his developer buddies, agricorps and lefty green organizations, all stood to benefit lucratively from the scam. The only ones who didn't have a seat at the table were the stakeholders themselves, who were losing their property in the process.
I could spend the entire evening going through his nonsense - his refusal to allow drilling in the gulf, his full support for shamnesty (even now while Florida is suffering double-digit unemployment), his sicking the state on a disabled vet who didn't want to sell his property for Jeb's green ambitions, his implementing "Sea Grass Awareness Day," his public comments stating that the GOP setbacks in the election were because they weren't RINO enough, etc. etc.
Jeb Bush is a green, shamnesty RINO scumbag, not someone who lacks political acumen.
Jeb Bush, another traitorous NWO RINO that should be relegated to the dust bin of history.
Morris is the most accessible and interesting talking head out there. He’s a lousy prognosticator (Hillary vs. Condi anyone?), but his insight is always top-notch and he’s a lot of fun to read and listen to.
I even give him a pass on the foot fetish, odd as it may be.
I’m looking forward to reading the book.
For once I agree with Jesse Jackson. Remember when Dubya was campaigning for his first term and Jackson created the chant: "Out de Bushes!" Two Bushes are far more than enough!
This is just what the economy needs right now because there is such a surplus of jobs. (/sarc)
And those are the positive things about the potential candidate.... The Bushes done wore out their White House Welcome and gave us what we got now!!!!!!!!
L.A. Latinos celebrate the Farce of July
Goodbye, Gringo America
Its payback time for white America.
Americas Palestinians are on the march, chanting Ahora es la tiempo por audacia!
Thousands of Latinos are gathering this Independence Day to celebrate the Farce of July.
This annual all-day concert and street fair is held on Cesar Chavez Avenue in East Los Angeles - - the heart of the barrio.
The event is sponsored by the Aztlan Underground to uphold the claim that the Southwest portion of the United States had been stolen from Mexicans and Mexican Americans ......
Members of the Aztlan Movement and La Raza (of which Supreme Council nominee Sotomayor is a national director) seek to annex California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and southern Colorado into a new nation: Republica del Norte, the Republic of the North.”
see Last years event poster
Sounds like a far-fetched idea save for the fact that the 56% of Mexicans and Mexican Americans, according to a Zogby poll, favor the reconquista.
The creation of a Hispanic Homeland, Charles Truxillo, professor, University of New Mexico, maintains, is an inevitability that should be brought into being by any means necessary.
But the reconquista wont end with territorial occupation and secession. The final plan for the La Raza movement includes the ethnic cleansing of Americans of European, African, and Asian descent out of Aztlan.[snip]
They must all be getting paid off, under the table, by companies that benefit from cheap illegal labor.
They have some stake in it somehow. Because they commit political suicide doing it. So they must be in it for the cash.
It’s the only thing that makes sense.
This should absolve anyone of the delusion that Jeb Bush plans on running for President. Not gonna happen. He knows he’d never win. It also demonstrates that the Bushes have a VERY different vision for the future of America than do common sense Americans, than did Ronald Reagan, OR the Founders....
This is EXACTLY why I will NEVER vote for Jeb Bush or any other RINO - not even with Palin on the ticket. Never again! Been there, done that.
Yes, I will waste my vote on a third party.
I lived in FL when Jeb was governor. A lib I know hated his guts. I told him he ought to shut up. Jeb was giving him what he wanted, he was just too full of blind hate for “Republicans” to figure it out.
I have no love lost for Jeb. It was only by following Walkin’ Lawton that improved his appearance.
Bob Graham, Lawton Chiles, Jeb Bush, Charlie Crist. Disgusting. Every one of them dirty. And Bob Graham a loon and a half on top of it. Man needed some serious meds and treatment for OCD.
I'd believe a hooker that said she loved me before I'd believe this crew saying that.
These clowns just never learn.
Nope, no conspiracies out there working behind the backs of the honest American taxpayer.
No more Bushes, EVER!
We have been fooled twice already.
I should never say never. But in less that family has a real dose of enlightment come to them. I don’t think I could vote for a Bush or one of their relatives.
What’s new, the entire Bush family has been against the US being an independant nation since the revolution.
2 Bushes have almost destroyed this nation. That is enough.
If true, why didn't Bush 41 fix it?
For years we told him "secure the borders first". Truly securing our borders would have opened the doors to a guest worker plan and perhaps even a bit of amnesty, but that was too much for Bush to understand and implement.
