To put that “somewhat approve” in perspective, I would answer that I somewhat approve because there were a couple of things he did that I liked. But I consider him to be Mussolini II, utterly unqualified for the job, a complete buffoon and the worst president in the last century by a wide margin. And I expect him to only get worse and more desperate.

So that 52% may be taken with a grain of salt. After all, even Hitler and Mussolini did a couple of good things. Volkswagons are nice.

If these were stocks, I’d be betting on the red one.

uh-oh. Sliding from “THE Chosen ONE” to “Maybe He’s Not the ONE” in 6 months doesn’t look good.

Can anyone yet explain why the American public bought into this inexperienced leftist. If they were fed up with the GOP, we’d be better off with (gulp, dare I say it)Hillary.

This will just spur the SRM into action.

Look for more and more stories about how the stimulus is work, how the Obamas are dazzling the world, how the climate is healing, how the crippled are walking and the blind are seeing!

And the sheeple will consume the pablum and go back to sleep.

After the election of 08, I have very little faith in Americans.

“Divisive”

Remember that’s the word they used to attack Reagan and Bush? The fact that they hated Reagan and Bush justified their hatred of Reagan and Bush. Now who’s divisive? A man with a fanatical, cult-like following in the media, who is “strongly disapproved of” by 37% of the population.

Among those who have no real strong opinion, Obama leads 20-11. If you suppose that non-registered voters mirror this group, this explains the gap between Rasmussen’s likely voter poll results and Gallup’s poll of all adults. But his presidential approval index probably shows that disapprovers will probably dominate the water cooler talk, and those who don’t feel strongly tend not to vote in off-year elections. Which spells disaster for the Democrats in 2010. Unfortunately, in the Senate, most of the vulnerable seats are Republican, so gains might be modest. But we can win the House.

“I have two family members who voted for O who are having discomfort and regret”

I have one. My mother who came of age in the 60’s. Part of the reason for her idiotic vote was that “the blacks deserved it after all we did to them.”

How I am a conservative is the topic of many family get-togethers.

Obama’s approval rating is also dropping because he won’t produce his original long form birth certificate!
