The Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) led by Geert Wilders is leading both of the nation's major opinion polls. While the party currently holds only nine seats of the 150 seats in the Dutch Lower House Parliament, both the Synovate Political Barometer and pollster Maurice de Hond say the party stands to be the largest in Parliament following the next national elections.
A Synovate poll released Wednesday shows PVV in a tight race with the Christian Democratic Alliance (CDA), which currently holds 41 seats. If elections were held this week, both parties would win 32 seats, Synovate pollsters found.
Maurice de Hond's polls show PVV winning roughly 32 seats as well. A third poll, the TNS NIPO, shows PVV winning 28 seats to 24 for the CDA. If PVV were to win the plurality of Parliament seats, Wilders would be called to assemble the Netherlands' next ruling coalition.
Wilders is known worldwide for his views on Islam. He created the short movie Fitna, which links Koranic verses to modern terrorism, and has called the Koran “fascist” and Islam a “totalitarian ideology.” He suggests that the right to religious freedom should not apply to Islam, and he has called for his country to ban the building of new mosques.
He is currently planning a sequel to Fitna that will document the effects of mass Muslim immigration to non-Muslim countries.
Backlash over Fitna and over Wilders' controversial statements on Islam appears to have boosted his popularity. PVV's popularity rose in polls after an Amsterdam court decided to press charges against Wilders over his statements regarding Islam, and rose again after Wilders was denied entrance to Britain, where he planned to show his movie.

So can anyone in the world explain to me why he’s wrong? Didn’t think so.
It is not too late for the Dutch to save themselves if they have the courage and sense to do so, but time is running out.
I don’t know much about European politics & the parliamentary (sp?) system of governing, but I kinda wish that we here in the US would welcome parties from all sides of the political spectrum into Congress & let them play an active role like they seem to do over there.
Among other things, that would be a delicious slap in the face of the idiot Brown government in the UK, which banned the man from entry to their country. Ha Ha!
Let's pray the same can be said for Americans.

People all over the world want to be free from tyranny.
This could very well be their last chance - the Muslim demographics don’t look good. However, even if he does get elected, as far as I know, the EU controls each individual nation’s immigration policy and will not stop this slow suicide.
Rather sad, when you consider the fact that England and Holland fought together against the tyranny of the Inquisition and Imperial Spain. All Europe has common cause in fighting the Islamists.
It will hit the proverbial fan if this comes to pass. Euro-Muslims are not accustomed to even the mildest criticism or defiance, let alone to the kind of mauling Wilders will give them. Something like civil war could easily result, with anti-jihadists from all over Europe (and probably farther afield) flocking to the aid of the embattled Dutch.
With the economy in the tank, parties on the out are in.
The old PRI party won the Congressional elections in Mexico
over the weekend over Calderon’s PAN and the opposition won in Bulgaria over the Socialists.
This means Wilders party is on the rise in the Netherlands.
In the US, it means the GOP has chances next year.
Will real conservatives be GOP candidates or RINO’s?
That’s the battle we face in the primaries next year because whoever comes out on top stands a good chance of winning with the economy in bad shape.
Soemhow I think the Catholic Poles will be in the vanguard. They were there in 1683 AD in Vienna to help the Austrian, German and Northern Italians plus some Russians & English/Scottish protestant volunteers stop Islam.

I recall an American military guy on Michael Savage once. I forget his name but he knew his stuff and was fascinating. He predicted one day the Europeans would get fed up and start deporting Muslims enmasse and it would not be pretty. He said the Dutch and other Europeans could be ruthless if pushed. I was stunned as I listened. He said it was very possible we could see that. Europe just needs a few brave men like Geert to stand up. Pim did and they killed him. They said the killer was an animal rights guy but some people said they did not think so.
Europeans have a very long history of forcefully moving groups of people out that they don’t like.
People all over the world seem to be shaking off an anesthetically actuated nightmare as if waking from a self-induced, prolonged sleep. They ignored everything history ever taught about islam, somehow believing that in this century, all the past ingrained proclivity for abject evil which dates back to pre-Biblical days, then called Amalek, had suddenly reformed itself into what has been popularized in modern myth as a “religion of peace.”

How is it that with literally centuries of horror behind islam, no one has been willing to see it for what it is? And those who have have been severely ostracized?
The EU has no choice. islam, or die. Both ways. Leave it be and Europe is no more, or try and reverse the onslaught and bear the pain for having allowed it to fester unabated for so long.

I might agree if not for the fact that Christians do not routinely genocide non believers. muslims do. Furthermore, they are such a death wielding blood cult, that if no non muslims are in their immediate vicinity, they routinely kill each other.
Like wingless crickets, their only reaon for being is utter and complete destruction and abomination.

Their reason for being, as people, is to know, love, and serve God just as all of us. The problem is the false theology they were raised under: one of the great heresies, as Belloc correctly observed.
I remember it was after van Gogh or Pim was murdered that Dutch youth started getting pissed off. The Lib media started their usuall “right wing racists etc etc.” The Muslims were getting concerned very quickly.
I hope Geert and his party win. This may be Holland and Europe’s last chance. I think Europeans are starting to get fed up. Damn ME oil.
No one wants genocide but Europeans need to start giving mandatory one way tickets back to lovely Islamic states. Give them all 10 euros as pocket money.
The problem in much of the western world is the taxes are so high, cost of living is high and media spews so much crap that family formation has suffered. Young Dutch, Americans, Germans, Italians are not forming families. They ending up being taxed to death to pay for endless freebies for invading parasites.
Some very religious family still have lots of kids. I believe it is more along the lines of willingness to have kids.

I beg to differ. Since time immemorial these people, pre and post islam, have been doing the very same things they are doing now. Attacking the weak, attacking from behind, attacking women and children. They have always been predators. There has been no change since pre-biblical times. With the advent of Mohammed, they attacked and terrorized their own to build followers who were obedient ONLY to him. In islam, they choose to worship a man, a madman at that, not a god.
They have never known GOD. Everything they believe is made up out of whole cloth. Pre-mohammed, they worshipped gods and goddesses. Allah itself was a pre-islamic idol.
Allah corresponded to the Babylonian god Baal, and Arabs knew of him long before Mohammed worshipped him as the supreme God. Before Islam the Arabs recognized many gods and goddesses, each tribe had their own deity. There were also nature deities. Allah was the god of the local Quarish tribe, WHICH WAS MOHAMMED’S TRIBE BEFORE HE INVENTED ISLAM to lead his people out of their polytheism.
Allah was then known as the Moon God, who had 3 daughters who were viewed as intercessors for the people into Allah. Their names were Al-at, Al-uzza, and Al-Manat, which were three goddesses; the first two daughters of Allah had names which were feminine forms of Allah. Hubal was the chief God of the Kaaba among the other 360 deities. Hubal was the chief God of the Kaaba among the other 360 deities. Hubal was a statue likeness of a man whose body was made of red precious stones whose arms were made of gold.
The literal name of Mohammed’s father in Arabic is Abd Allah. His uncle’s name Obred Allah. These names show the devotion of Mohammed’s families pagan roots, and also prove that Allah was part of a polytheistic system of worship before Allah was made the supreme and only god from the other gods. This should be proof to the pre- Islamic root of the name of Allah to the Muslim. Remember they were pagans who used this name. He kept his family name above all the other names.

I believe Christian Syrians and others were using the term “Allah” before Mohammed was even born. And I also must point out that English speakers ought to tread very lightly on criticizing the etymology of “Allah” in light of the potential etymology of “God”:

Now why can’t the Arabs turn right around and say that the English worshiped a burial spirit?
Anyway, it’s clear that Mohammed was influenced by Syriac Christianity—although almost certainly heretical variants of it.
You’ll get no argument from me about the falsity of Islamic theology. But are you prepared to call Arabic-speaking Christians devil worshipers too? Because they call God “Allah”.
Why do you think God of the Bible is so preoccupied with His name? You will not find the word allah in the Bible. Allah is the name of a pagan moon god of ancient arabic beginnings. When they mistakenly call God ... allah... they are invoking that entity. When they call upon allah... allah does not hear, does not offer salvation, does not answer prayer. "There is only ONE name under heaven whereby men must be saved." ... AND IT AIN'T ALLAH.
You will find the word Allah in the Bible...if you read an Arabic Bible. And you actually won’t find the word “God” in the Bible...if you read it in the Hebrew and Greek original.
Argue the theology of Islam all you want (and I’ll help out), but don’t use use etymological slander to do it.

Regardless, in the Old Testament, GOD SPEAKS and calls It’s Self I AM. There is no Name. I AM exists as a living force. Any name beyond that is generated by man’s need to put names to things it cannot explain, but a NAME is not a definition.
By DEFINITION, ALLAH was an idol.

But you make it sound like Mohammed had no contact with Christianity...that his ideas were 100% pagan derived. Nonsense. He certainly had contact with Jews and Syriac Christians.
It’s quite possible, you know, for a person to get some things right and other things way wrong, which is what I think happened in his case. Monotheism, he got. A lot of everything else, he botched big time.

I never even hinted at such a thing. However, since you bring it up, the Christians he was in contact with couldn’t tell you about it because he had them forcibly converted or massacred. Jews and Christians in Mo’s world are not to be tolerated. islam gives a backhanded recognition of Jesus to enhance and legitimize mohammed as a prophet, but considers Christians heretics. At the time, Christianity was dominant.
When islam became the dominant political force in the region, people were coerced to use the name allah for GOD or suffer the consequences from the hands of militant muslims. Because of islam’s dominance, allah became the common name of GOD. The translators of the Bible gave in to the religious pressures and substituted allah for YHVH in the Arabic Bibles, but this is not the name of the GOD of the Hebrews, nor of the creator who made heaven and earth because of its source in paganism. allah’s nature and attributes have very few basic similarities to the Living GOD and many more differences. And the most important and telling point for Christians might be that all through the Qu’ran it says allah has NO SON.
