Sunday will mark one year since the death of Tony Snow from cancer. He battled the disease, which originated in his colon before spreading, for more than three years.
Snow, a longtime commentator and journalist, anchored at Fox News Channel and later worked for a short time at CNN. In between his TV jobs, he served as White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush.
This Sunday, TVNewser has learned, Fox News Channel will mark the anniversary of Snow's death with numerous mentions of him throughout the day, along with thoughts from Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush and from FNC colleagues such as Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren.

Thank you so much for the ping.
I am so pleased they are doing this. I think of Tony so very often.
For the Tony Snow list.
So do I, it still brings tears to my eyes to think about him. It feels like much longer than a year.
[During] one of the sharpest exchanges, when he got tired of a series of my queries [he] finally snapped: "Zip it!" But what people did not know is that [later] Tony privately apologized.
LOLing through misty eyes.
I was thinking of Tony the other day. I think he would have loved Twitter for the chance to connect with and talk to everyday people.
I miss Tony.
That’s a wonderful picture, LUV.
he would have a BLAST with Twitter....and so would we!
‘Bout made me cry just to preview it. *sniff*
Prayers for his family. He is missed.
Thanks Bah Bah..Tony is certainly missed.
We were just talking about him. It seems longer than a year, doesn’t it?
Thanks for the ping, Bahbah. Tony was mentioned in an article linked to another thread today about Helen Thomas. Remember when Tony thanked Helen for “the Hezbollah point of view”?
My buddy. Our buddy.
Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.
Oh, dear...
Thank you, Bahbah. This date is sadly inscribed in my memory. I miss Tony so, and will remember him and his family at Mass on Sunday. He spread a lot of love, didn’t he?
Hi, Dita! Yes, he loved well and so was loved well by many.
“But what people did not know is that [later] Tony privately apologized.”
There was also the very public apology to David Gregory.
I really miss him!
