I kind of doubt any heartfelt racism, even amongst those that speak with harsh words of comment. But I am pretty sure we are guilty of that high crime of clinging to our Bibles and guns.

I'm sure that's true in many cases, but frustration is rarely a good motivation for acting. It makes people careless and reckless. It explains the problem but doesn't justify everything people do out of frustration nor make it a good idea.

True enough. But what I think is happening, and what I'd like to see happen even more, is that people are getting a little less fearful of the "racist" label, and they're starting to realize that it has always been mostly a con job. Only once people get past that fear can any honest, problem-solving conversation ever happen.

John McCain adopted this play nice, on the defensive attitude last year. You saw what happened to him. They ran over him like a doormat.

I think it is a set up, especially since it went from an email to JR to hitting papers as far away as Vancover... in other words more Alinsky tactics as the left becomes more desperate to control the internet.
