I guess Pelosi didn't want to be seen backing a pedophile unless it was one with a (D- ) next to their name.

Sheila should know only Nancy’s little mouse gets a resolution.

Typical state-run media. They don’t mention ultralib Jackson-Lee’s name in the headline, hoping to mislead many readers into thinking it’s just another Texan politician.

There's no way for her to make money on it or it or a resolution would have been a priority.

It boggles my mind that so few African Americans are able to see how utterly and completely anti-African MJ was. He bleached himself white. How can you express your contempt for your own race any more strongly than that?

Why do they want to adulate him? It boggles my mind.

When members of the Congressional Black Caucus held a moment of silence in the House after Jackson died June 25, some lawmakers walked out of the chamber.

Jackson Lee has pledged that the resolution, now before the House Foreign Affairs Committee where she is a member, would come to the full House for debate.

Such honorary measures normally move quickly from committee to the full House and pass on a voice vote.

But Jackson Lee's resolution was in trouble early.

It drew only one co-sponsor, Rep. Diane Watson, D-Calif., and was not endorsed by other black caucus members.

On NPR this morning, one of the commentators explained Pelosi’s decision as an admission that Congress already honors Michael Jackson every single day by being “freakishly dysfunctional.” Even the libs on NPR seem to be sick of Wacko Jacko.

Speaking of Houston has anyone seen our Democrat Rep from Arizona? She has been missing from her district for a while, http://www.gilacourier.com/?p=2610.

Luckily a great conservative Republican is running against her, http://www.votejessekelly.com.

Sheila Martian Lee heard that the 40th anniversary of the first moon walk was coming up and she naturally thought it was another honor for Jackson.

Simple: their community's leadership leads them into doing so. Look at what Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have been doing for the last few weeks. And anyone who doesn't think there's money being passed around is kidding themselves.
