Bill O'Reilly has called Free Republic a hate site and he may now have some ammunition to back up that assertion.

"Wonder when she will get her first abortion."At a time when the administration is seeking any reason to squelch any speech it deems "hate", as well as the entities where that speech may be found, what the hell were these people thinking?These are a small selection of some of the racially-charged comments posted to the conservative 'Free Republic' blog Thursday, aimed at U.S. President Barack Obama's 11-year-old daughter Malia after she was photographed wearing a t-shirt with a peace sign on the front.
The thread was accompanied by a photo of Michelle Obama speaking to Malia that featured the caption, "To entertain her daughter, Michelle Obama loves to make monkey sounds."

“HollywoodOz” has written some pretty vile stuff at DailyKos during his tenure. These included playing a mnemonics game wherein “BUSH” was “Bloody Useless Sack Of Hatred” and CHENEY was “Can He Eat Negro Eyes Yet.”
He’s also fond of creating Google bombs, including one in 2005 to make Bill O’Reilly look like a terrorist sympathizer.
What’s the connection to the Sun’s Chris Parry? Well, Moxie Online has a member named HollywoodOz, real name Chris Parry. Technorati also shows HollywoodOz as Chris Parry.
Beyond this, a man simply calling himself Oz runs a blog called Notes From the Nat which follows baseball, in particular the Vancouver Canadians. In 2006, a fan sent in an e-mail message wherein Oz was referred to as “the wizard of HollywoodOz, Chris Parry.”
Finally, DKos’s HollywoodOz often cites Vancouver newspapers and other Canadian media as he did here, here, and here.
Is this all a coincidence?
Maybe, but as you might imagine, the Freepers are up in arms about this revelation.
Will MSNBC and Shuster investigate any of this before they go ahead with this planned report?

I have to agree with you, Bob. Just because you have the right to say or do something doesn’t mean you should. Attacking the children is absolutely not acceptable. We hated it when the Bush girls were getting drunk in public and were attacked for their behavior, and they were much older. Sasha and Malia are children. They are innocent. They seem very sweet, and they do not deserve ugly racial invective.
Let’s criticize the president for his vile, stupid, destructive policies. But the kids have nothing to do with their father’s policies; leave them alone.

Not sure if you caught the update Bob, the reporter who was pimping this may have been involved in actually creating the story. The reporter, Chris Parry was a member of the DailyKOS, hollywoodoz and in all of his very vile comments, advocates ‘attacking “negros” and blaming it on Republicans”. He even came here to try to defend himself and in doing so, admitted he had at least three accounts, two of which where zotted (probably for comments like these). His comments on KOS and his twitter are far more vile than anything he complained about here.

He is wrong about this particular situation, but for the right reasons. He is right that our side shouldn’t be attacking the kids and the comments IF they where by FReepers, where wrong.
However, as well all know, just because someone posts here doesn’t make him a FReeper, we have trolls all over the place as does every internet forum. Heck, Chris Parry posted here so by his own charges, he is a FReeper and just as guilty of the comments by association.

I have a thick skin and while being a conservative, have taken my shots here for some commentary not always agreed with. But WHY give assholes like Parry and Kos any ammo at all?
The Obamas like the Clintons are the same. They don’t want to be reminded of all the trash talk about the Bush twins and the unforgivable remarks made about Sarah and Todd Palins children. Only the bottom of barrel scum suckers would make those kinds of remarks. That and not knowing any of the names of the posters making those remarks made me wonder if they were not real Freepers.
It should be obvious to everyone by now that this is a planned and concerted attack on FR by the really radical left.
Any site which is open to the public will have opinions all over the map. Some will be mild some stronger and a few will be over the top.

I don’t frequent the leftist web sites but from what I have read, they are basically hate filled, lies and distortions purposely intended to mislead.
They could take a lesson from FR’s posters which I am sure would be like a breath of fresh air to them.
O'Reilly has also said that the Left's websites are far more vicious than any sites on the Right. He has positioned FR as the dominant site on the Right, and in my opinion, he has unfairly used moral equivalence to put the dominant Right site and dominant Left site on equal footing.
However, I would like to see O'Reilly come to his senses on the proportion of differences between sites on the Right and Left. I'd like to see O'Reilly report that the person from Kos who reported on the racial slurs on FR had previously posted about falsifying racist charges against Free Republic, and hid the fact that he was also a reporter for the Seattle newspaper which "broke" the story.
