Let’s see - current system - most people get good to excellent care - a few people (sometimes due to choices they made sometimes due to cirumstances beyond their control) get less than that or have to jump through a lot of hoops.

Versus PeasantCare - everyone (except the liberal elites) gets crap care, with rationing, pissed off doctors, inadequate facilities, no incentive for innovation, and the government now has complete freedom to peer into the innermost details of your life and regulate same.

My daughter-in-law (Canadian) has a sister in Edmonton who found lumps in her breast (she is 30). After finally getting in to see her "regular" doctor for a referral to a specialist,... she had to wait more months to see the specialist. Fortunately, it is probably not cancer as she is still alive. Maybe the specialist will have some idea what it is when he gets to see it?

Does Canada have socialized funeral care as well? That would be a nice twist to close the loop!
