(WSB Radio) -- This could be the break terrified Tech-area residents have been looking for: the arrest of three young men police say tried to rob a pedestrian at gunpoint.
The suspects are identified as Justin Johnson, and Xavier Mosteller, both 21; and 19-year old Dandre Barnwell.
Atlanta Police Sergeant Reginald Moorman says the suspects were armed and very dangerous.
"It looks like they were prepared for anything," says Atlanta Police Sgt. Reginald Moorman.
The three suspects were arrested early Sunday near the Tech campus. When they were pulled over, Moorman says they had in their car, "a fully-loaded AK-47 assault rifle, military body armor and ski masks."
Moorman says they could be gang members and they're all suspects in many of the robberies that have plagued the Georgia Tech area over a span of months.
In keeping with the local media policy of not identifying the race of black violent criminals in Atlanta, this makes no mention of the fact that the "youts" were undoubtedly black. Chalk up another win for the welfare state in creating generations of sociopaths whose only value is a bone deep sense of entitlement.
Way to go LBJ and the Great Society - now to be outdone by 0bama and his Democratic and Republican accomplices in the Kongress with the new zero society.

No mention of the dark SUV that was described in the previous robberies. Also, who the heck walks around Spring and 4th at 3 in the morning?
Then you must be missing a few workers :-) because the criminals are described as "young men" , not "thugs" or "gang bangers" or even "youths", so they can't be black thugs indiginous to the Atlanta metro area so therefore the media would have us conclude that "they be white."
A few years ago in the same vicinity, a taxi driver shot and killed a "black yout" who was going to rob him and probably kill him. After the media and the relatives had a good cry fest over the tragic loss of a budding career criminal and wondered repeatedly why the taxi driver was not going to be charged with anything, the number of robberies in the area dropped for a couple of months until the remaining pool of thugs forgot about it and got bold again.

I'm a little confused on the terminology here - When they say the AK was "fully-loaded", do they mean that the rifle's ultra-high-capacity magazine was completely loaded with heat-sinking baby-killing armor-piercing projectiles, or do they mean that this particular rifle was the deluxe model which comes with the bayonet for drive-by knifings?
Whichever you'd like and whichever would reenforce the stereotype of the evil gun. Atlanta police chief, Richard ahhma Penning ahhma ton, is one of the Democrat's pet anti-gunners who testified in favor of the renewal of the Feinstein semiauto ban. No JBT in Atlanta who wants to lick his boss's a$$ would let an opportunity to damage the 2nd amendment go unexploited. Moorman can expect a pat on the head from his superiors for his misleading statement. Obviously these dirt bags did not have a full auto, but facts and truth never matter to the police when there is a chance to further their careers as government apparatchicks.
