Obama/Soros Group MoveOn.org Already Targeting Sarah Palin

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 Obama/Soros Group MoveOn.org Already Targeting Sarah Palin By Joseph Russo

It appears that Palin's impressive SarahPAC showing and op-ed regarding "cap and tax" have the lefties running scared.

CNN reports:

"(CNN) – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee is confirming a flood of new donations that push her cash haul close to the million-dollar mark, as one of the nation's largest liberal PACs announced an ad targeting the former GOP vice presidential candidate.

Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton confirmed a report in the Anchorage Daily News that more than $200,000 had poured into SarahPAC since Palin's announcement a week and a half ago that she would be leaving office by the end of the month.

Those funds, along with $732,867 received through June 30 according to federal campaign finance filings, leave the governor just shy of a million dollars in donations to date since SarahPAC's January launch.

Stapleton told CNN that the PAC, which supports conservative candidates, had received contributions from more than 11,000 supporters, with the majority of the money coming from outside Alaska.

The news came as MoveOn.org began e-mailing members Tuesday, asking them to fund a rapid response ad blasting Palin's new Washington Post op-ed that criticized President Obama's position on "cap and trade" legislation — a major part of the administration's effort to overhaul the nation's energy policy.

The group said Palin was positioning herself as the face of conservative opposition to Obama's energy policy, telling supporters her op-ed was "a marvel of misinformation and outright lies."

The group has not yet said where the spot would air, or revealed the scope of any potential ad buy."

Fight back against liberal smears by donating to SarahPAC today.

Considering that public opinion is moving against cap and tax, I wish Move 0n success in telling everyone that SP is against it.

Her lawyer appears to be a gursy guy.

Why does he not sue the hell out of those whose claims are determined to be without merit?

She will win. She has won everyone of these Obama directed complaints against her. The most recent three are even more ridiculous than all the complaints which have been tossed.

The left going nuts is just more proof that Sarah was right, and the “quitter” chorus of the chattering class was wrong.

Palin did "lie" about this in her article.

"The ironic beauty in this plan [cap-n-trade]? Soon, even the most ardent liberal will understand supply-side economics."

Liberals are too stupid to figure out supply-side economics.

A lefty blogger criticized SP’s op-ed today because he said she didn’t mention anything about the (alleged) effects of global warming. Yet, what is Move 0n’s line of attack: “Sarah Palin’s new job? Attacking Obama’s clean energy jobs plan and keeping us hooked on Big Oil and Coal.”

Quick, let’s all send faxes to our Congressmen complaining about this. I’m sure that this time, it’ll work. OK, faxes and emails. That’ll get their attention. Good, I feel better about myself, I’m really contributing.

I hope Gov. Palin responds to this with an op/ed about 0bama’s attempt to nationalize health care, the sooner the better. Moveon.org attacked General Petraeus not that long ago, so I’d say Palin’s in good company.

I wonder how come moveon.org isn’t attacking Romney, Huckabee, Gingrich, Pawlenty or any of the other “leading contenders.” My guess is is that they aren’t seen as having the ability to take the fight to 0bama and win.

When Governor Palin becomes president in ’12, she needs to yank/cancel that Nazi sympathizer and crook, György Schwartz, his U.S. citizenship and throw him in jail for the rest of his natural life should he live that long.

No one has dared do it before because he has bought everybody, and I do mean everybody, off.

Sarah does not owe him a dime. She will become president in spite of him. This must have him very scared since he doesn’t control her.

I am praying she is going to head up an organization like moveon.org for conservatives. we have to do exactly what they do..target libs and make it impossible for them to do anything. We are losing this war because libs know how to use the courts and we always think we have to do the right thing. ENOUGH.

Never! Sarah is absolutely BRILLIANT. Even the ham sandwich John Kerry wrote a piece in the Huffington Compost blasting Sarah for being against Cap and Trade. Is Sarah the most brilliant woman or what!! Most Americans are against this crap, they will read Sarah’s article, agree with her and support her. She might get more donations now. It’s a shame the rest of the GOP can’t stand up and defend this woman. She should be the leader of the party, the ONLY one with guts

I thought Bernie Goldberg explained it well on Hannity tonight. There is a war in the GOP between the Sarah Palin conservatives and the so-called intellectual GOPers like Krauthammer, Noonan, etc... (who support Romney though Bernie didn’t mention that)..... he pretty much laid it out that there is two parties within one party and it will be interesting to see who is able to pull it together.
