I wish to say thank you to Jim Robinson for starting Free Republic because it has kept me informed more than any other blog on the net. Jim I am so sorry you are under attack from the left, but I as a Catholic will pray for you and I now encourage all other FReeper to do the same. God is stronger than the liberal democrats and we know this. So I ask all the FReepers to send Jim Robinson your prayers and ask for God's protection.

I think there are many of us here who pray for Jim Robinson and his works daily. I know I do. Prayer for intercession of St. John of God, Patron of publishers and printers:

Saint John of God, help us to act out of love as soon as we feel the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Help us learn to fight the little voices in our heads and hearts that give us all sorts of practical reasons to wait or delay in our service of God. Amen

You say “News Forum” I beg to differ....this place can be a stand up comedy zone sometimes....but that is why I come back every day....to see what happens next, it usually does. It is outrageous. We do think the moderators could be more vigilant about shutting threads down that threaten other people, though, or attack people personally.
