Breaking: TVNewser has learned CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen's contract will not be renewed and she will be leaving the network.
Roesgen, you'll recall, was criticized for her coverage at the tax day tea parties in April, when she said the event she was covering in Chicago was, "anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing, conservative network Fox."
Roesgen took a break for a few weeks after that reporting and returned to the air in May covering the Drew Peterson arrest. Most recently, she covered Michael Jackson's death from Los Angeles. Roesgen joined CNN in 2005.

I was going to post it but you beat me to it.
So long Susan!!! Bye loser!!
What a hateful liberal (oxymoron) woman. Good for CNN.
As some of the commenters to the story are saying, she’d fit right in at MSNBC.
on that note, I think I’ll call it a day and get off this thing.
Oh, I’m sooo addicted to FR. I need help. :>))))
yay, one hater down and CNN is $11 an hour closer to profitability
Don’t come crying to Foxnews for a job!! LOL.
Oh I have to believe her agent is already on the phone with the folks from MSNBC.
All together: Awwwwwwwwwwww!!!
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving scumbunny. ;)
Seems CNN does have at least some standards. No doubt Olbie will be after MSNBC to hire her.
That says a lot when even the Communist Network tosses this sack of crap to the curb. Hey Susan, hope is not lost, MSDNC will hire you in a heartbeat. Their whole network is full of Anti-American bozos
Can we get an exclusive FR interview with her? Bahahahahahaha!!
HA! Me too. When my 2 1/2 old wants me to go away, he says, “Mommy, go read on your computer.”
He he he!
She was a loon while in NOLA and at CNN.
Maybe she can find work on some street corner.
Dont come crying to Foxnews for a job!! LOL.
That is what I would call..IRONY LOL
Even CNN has standards..WHO KNEW
She’ll probably be offered a prime time show on MSNBC.
I’ll start by saying/writing, I do not watch the news at all. Very refreshing btw.
I did catch Susan reporting on the TV via youtube by some Freepers posting it.
I thought for sure she was just an independent amateur reporter that sold her coverage to CNN. News stations buy coverage when real reporters are not able to cover stories.
So I am shocked that she was an actual reporter. She was very subjective on the reporting on the tea party. Challenging those she interviewed.
Again, shocked that she was a real legitimate reporter or at least trying to act as one.
Isn't that where people are never heard from--a Democrat witness protection program?
Knowing how the left operates,
she wasn’t fired for having leftwing bias,
but for actually exposing it in a manner
that we can point to as an example.
On invitation to President Barack Obama to speak at Notre Dame graduation:
ROESGEN: A spokesman for the university says there no plans to un-invite the president, but protesters say they will say one million rosaries until graduation day praying that the president will become pro-life. (END VIDEOTAPE) ROESGEN: Can you believe that, Wolf, theyre actually praying that God will change the heart and mind of President Obama to make him pro-life?
PMSNBC ping...incoming resume!
GOOD, now I can stop being a member of facebooks
Susan Roesgen’s Worst Nightmare group.
LOL! That's what I hear. Since Comcast Cable moved the PMS channel higher so we can't get it without a more expensive package I'm not even tempted to tune it in because I can't. :)
Of course, this is the same Susan Roesgen whose report on Obama speaking at Notre Dame observed that Obama “leans pro-choice” and later said to Wolf Blitzer, “Can you believe that, Wolf, theyre actually praying that God will change the heart and mind of President Obama to make him pro-life?”
Somebody get a copy of her resume over to Fox News so that she can be rejected by them ... AGAIN!!!
Susan Roesgen is an Emmy award winning American reporter based in Chicago. She has worked as a general assignment correspondent for CNN since 2005. Before than, she was a prime time anchor at five TV stations, including WABC-TV, New York, and at the National Geographic Channel.
Roesgen's reporting has taken her from an Army barracks in Haiti, to the Sea of Galilee, and even to the pyramids of Egypt. She is the recipient of an Emmy award for her documentary on the theft of artifacts from New Orleans historic cemeteries, and a Louisiana Associated Press Award for her reporting in Israel. She graduated with honors from Montana State University and majored in English Literature.
In mid 2009, it was announced that her contract at CNN would not be renewed.
and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
I doubt she’ll show upon Fox. She’s a bow wow.
Buh-bye, Susan Roadkill!
yeah, they’ve already rejected her twice. The only network with any standards.
MSNBC will pick her up.
... Or she could get in on the ground floor with that up and coming radio network that EVERYONE is just crazy about, Air America!!!
There is some small local station somewhere where she can work for the rest of her life and be as bitter as she wants to be! :)
Its acronym stands for MostSocialistNewsBroadcastCchannel. So, yes, it could serve as a Democrat witness protection channel...
