The famous hotel could be open for bids next week

The Watergate Hotel made famous by a presidential scandal is expected to be on the auction block next week.

Alex Cooper Auctioneers is announcing that it will take bids Tuesday on the Washington landmark.

Charles Clark Kissinger is a prominent member of the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP). He was instrumental in the formation of the groups Refuse & Resist, Not in Our Name, and World Can’t Wait.

Born in 1940, Kissinger began his public activism in the early 1960s when he served as the national secretary of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the leading radical organization of its day. He also worked closely with Fred Hampton and the Black Panther Party.

Kissinger, who supported Mao Zedong’s Communist regime in China, continues to enjoy strong support from the Maoist Internationalist Movement (MIM), which, in its own words, “upholds the revolutionary communist ideology of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism” and views the Chinese Cultural Revolution as “the farthest advance of communism in human history.” MIM seeks to achieve its ends “by building public opinion to seize power through armed struggle” and full-fledged “revolution [in] North America.”

A devoted backer of Iran’s Islamic revolution, Kissinger in 1979 traveled to Iran when Ayatollah Khomeni seized power.

In October 1983, Kissinger and RCP tried to sabotage American efforts to deploy Pershing and cruise missiles in Germany. Kissinger personally led a “World Without Imperialism Contingent” (WWIC) on an eight-week tour of Germany to lay the framework for thwarting the missile deployments. Accompanied by members of Peru’s Marxist guerrilla army, the Shining Path, Kissinger and his RCP comrades penetrated the Mutlangen U.S. military base in West Germany, where Pershing II intermediate-range missiles were stored.

The following month, Kissinger’s fellow RCP / WWIC members were involved, along with Red Cells and other German anarchist-terrorists, in an assault against Vice President George H.W. Bush’s caravan during a visit to Krefeld, Germany.

In January 1984, the RCP newspaper Revolutionary Worker, for which Kissinger has written frequently, called for the assassination of President Ronald Reagan.

We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.

Seems like Obama is doing everything he can to create as many "cracks" as possible, thereby giving them multiple chances to "succeed". If one crisis fails to bring about the desired result, then there will be many other crises which might not "fail" to do so. Stacking the deck in their favor, so to speak. Obama's roll in all of this may be as simple as that - create as many crises as possible, so that hopefully one can be used to move forward to the ultimate goal. Rahm is also there to make sure that "no crisis goes to waste".

I wonder who this army is (if it even exists outside of their imaginations), and where they are caching their arms. If this is true, it sounds like they are talking about a real army, with real guns, and real people to act as soldiers. How do you secretly build and organize something like that, and keep it cohesive, while you are waiting for your "triggering" crisis??

True enough. I work near San Francisco. Lots of lib co-workers. They tell me that many of their lib friends own guns. Even though they speak out a lot against the second amendment, it seems that many SF Bay Area libs take advantage of it themselves. I have been wondering about that. Many of we Conservatives think that if things get bad, at least we will have our guns to protect us, or to be used to take back the country, because none of the left-wing weenies believe in gun ownership. I sometimes wonder if we will be surprised to find out that the libs will break out with just as many second-amendment protected guns on their side - much to the surprise of the Conservatives. You know what they say - never assume!!

I would not be surprised, and here is why:

First, it is a liberal hallmark to feel they do not have to follow the rules they advocate for everyone else. Look at the extrodinarily well-paid Liberals who make a living decrying the "Rich", for example.

Even the loudest advocates of gun control are either armed themselves or have bodyguards who are.

Add to this group another element in whomever supplies street gangs. Those have the potential to be the shock troops of the left with organization, experience in street battle (not on par with MOUT, but still something), and a command heierarchy. I am not saying they'd win, but things would be ugly.

Add in the 'community orgainzer' element, and they might have coordinated leadership, which could make them trouble indceed (compared to the non-veteran, unorganized, often aging, middle-class, non-paramilitary homeowners who think just having 'ol' Betsey in the corner gun safe is enough.). (Makes you ask: Where is all thet ACORN money going?)

Keep in mind that the New Left has been orgainzing the current all-level offensive against America (as we have known it) for decades, and we all have a lot of catching up to do.

Obama's personal army is only a few promises away from being reality.

You know what they say - never assume!!

Not only never ass/u/me, but never underestimate.

I know this may well sound paranoid, but I think we all need to take a deep breath and seriously think about our homes, neighborhoods, neighbors, families, and selves from a serious tactical standpoint.

For those of us who are not veterans, this means a steep learning curve, but one which may be necessary to survival.

It may be as simple as playing "What if?" during your day.

Be prepared, mentally, physically, and literally, to hit the street and bug out at a moment's notice, in any weather, any time day or night, with basic supplies.

I'm not talking paranoia, but survival--especially if the area you live in is prone to natural disasters, but the problem could be as simple as a house fire or a hazmat spill on a nearby street, and a fire drill/bugout plan is a good idea, anyway.

Figure out how much of what you can/should take with you in the event you have more notice than a couple of minutes.

"Feel out" the neighbors and figure out who is like-minded. Discuss joint action plans in the event of disaster, natural and otherwise.

You are your family (unit) leader, and being able to coordinate your efforts with other family (unit) leaders might make a critical difference for all of you.

Do some 'community organizing' of your own (not agitation, not wild-eyed rants, just talk with folks, many of whom might share your concerns, and let things develop from there).
