An Open Letter to John Kasich
Townhall.com ^ | July 17, 2009 | Mike Adams

Posted on 07/17/2009 5:06:07 AM PDT by Kaslin

John Kasich is a good man. I appeared on his show Heartland several times when it aired on Fox News. He also interviewed me once when he was filling in for Bill on the O’Reilly Factor. But now that he is running for governor of Ohio he may have a far more serious job in the near future. If elected, he will have to root out terrorist activity that is taking hold in the Buckeye State – activity that is being funded by Ohio taxpayers.

If Kasich is elected, his efforts to fight terror will get little assistance from the Obama administration. So far, Obama has done several things that will weaken future efforts to prevent domestic terrorism. Some examples follow:

*Obama has dismantled the Homeland Security Council. Their responsibilities have reverted back to the National Security Council. Since the NSC focuses largely on foreign policy issues, it is likely to overlook serious threats from within the United States.

*Obama has appointed Janet Napolitano as Homeland Security director. She has no experience with domestic terror issues. Her expertise is confined to border issues. And her reckless (and very public) remarks have made it clear that she sees returning war veterans as greater threats than Muslim extremists already living amongst us. One could easily call her appointment a real “manmade disaster.”

*Of course, Obama also appointed Eric Holder, Jr., as his U.S. attorney general. Holder played a major role in Bill Clinton’s pardon of a group of FALN terrorists in late 2000. Nothing more need be said about Holder’s commitment (or lack thereof) to fighting domestic terrorism.

*Obama also freed terrorist Binyam Mohamed. After training at al-Qaeda terrorist camps he was paid to come to the U.S. to blow up high-rise apartment buildings. Obama released him from Guantanamo in January. He was sent to the U.K. but, unfortunately, he will likely return to the U.S. to try to blow-up high rise apartment buildings. This return will be likely because a) He faces no charges in the U.K. and is a free man, and b) He has previously forged passports in an effort to enter the U.S. illegally. In other words, he is both free and determined.

The previous administration took domestic terror threats much more seriously. I know that because I reported one Ohio terrorist, Professor Julio Pino of Kent State, to the feds back in 2007. When I produced evidence that he had posted bomb-making instructions on a terrorist website - along with pleas to use the bombs against American troops – the feds met with me in Wilmington. The evidence suggests he posted to the website from his state-owned computer.

While Pino was under the watchful eye of the feds his department chairman at Kent State allowed Pino to travel to the Middle East without proper authorization. As a result, the chairman was fired. Pino remained fairly low key for the rest of the Bush administration.

But, now that Obama is in power, Pino knows he will never be prosecuted by the feds. This is in spite of the fact that he has terrorist connections – and has openly called for the murder of our troops and the mass-murder of Jews. The following is an email Pino sent to me earlier this week via his Kent State email account:

To: adams_mike@hotmail.com
Subject: Send Obama 4 More Coffins

Bomb blasts have killed four U.S. soldiers in southern Afghanistan.

Military spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Christine Sidenstricker says improvised explosive devices killed the four soldiers Saturday.

Sidenstricker says she has no other details, including the location of the attacks. The military counts suicide bombings and roadside bombs as IEDs, and it wasn't immediately clear which type of attack killed the soldiers.

Sidenstricker also said that a soldier who suffered wounds in Afghanistan in June died in the U.S. on Friday.

The five deaths bring to 106 the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan this year a record pace. Last year 151 U.S. troops died in the country.

Peace be upon those who follow guidance.

Pino is (usually) careful to word his emails in such a way that they convey no imminent and specific threat to American troops. But then Pino brazenly sends the emails to conservative bloggers in Ohio and around the nation. It is fortunate, I think, that Pino has not been attacked in his office at Kent State. Pino clearly lacks the requisite mental stability to know that he is placing himself at great risk with his persistent antagonism. And, sadly, he’s putting the Kent State community at risk, too.

The Obama administration will not do anything about Professor Pino. If anything happens it will be because a good governor – like John Kasich – used existing state laws or passed new ones in order to relieve the public of its lifelong support of a tenured terrorist. Any other outcome will be simply unacceptable.

John Kasich LIED to his constituents, promising to NEVER sign the Assault Weapons Ban (AWB).
Then, at the last hour, he CAVED IN, and his signature put the bill over the top.

He’s never answered for his crime.

I'm sure that his FBI files have the answer for you. Ever wonder why he quit congress?

Don’t worry, the people of OH will reject him for governor but not because of his hostility to the Second Amendment. They will call him a “right-wing” fanatic and repudiate him.

Kasich and a guy named Condit were sort of Batman and Robin combo all over after-dark DC for quite a while.

After the murder of Condit's sweetie, Kasich pulled the fastest conversion to straight-arrow I have ever seen. Overnight he went from Wild Man Party Animal to Pious Protestant Papa, complete with American Gothic Pitchfork and Overalls. And O yeah, please ask him about Global Warming.

Chandra Levy was killed in 2001. John Kasich went from bachelor to married man (second marriage) in 1997.

I have read corroborated accounts of Kasich and Condit attending a concert or two together. The rumors that you refer to never seem to have corroboration. But they seem to be freely cited on Free Republic by some posters.

Can you provide any citations of Kasich's alleged wild behavior until Chandra Levy was murdered?

I worked at the same hospital as John Kasich's now wife in the 1990s. I had working contact with her quite a few times. She never struck me as anything but a decent, common sense lady. I'd be shocked if she had participated in any way in any kind of charade in her marriage.

This guy claimed that Condit was "his best friend," on many more than a few occasions... was even considering campaigning for him!

I am not advocating that Kasich be ridden out of Columbus on a rail, just that he might well be taken with a grain of due diligence salt before we start running him for President.

And do ask him about Global Warming.

I have read the information in those links provided a few times.

IMO it is almost 100% innuendo. Certainly there are no facts beyond anything more serious than Kasich hung out with Condit at a rock concert and had considered campaigning for Condit at one time.

I’m tired for voting for the “lesser evil”.
We can do better, but as long as we get 50.01% of the votes, the candidate must be OK.

We just went through this in November and it didn’t get us very far.

You’d lose that bet.
I’m still fighting with Republicans who claim that she hurt the ticket.
The day she was selected as McCains running mate, I sent $100 to McCain’s campaign.
Before that, I sent them nasty letters.

We railed against McCain because he’s only marginally Republican and isn’t even Conservative. He wasn’t even in my top five heading into the primaries. In the end, we were stuck with him and now we see the end-result - a pathetic performance and now only backstabbing by his kindred staff and skanky daughter.

I don’t spend hours screaming at the wind, because I know I cannot control the wind.

However, for Republicans and Conservatives to try to change their own party, and nominate candidates that really serve our values, we must be willing to look within our OWN party. That’s the reason I neither give nor accept advice from Democrats.

Merely accepting a candidate because he isn’t the other guy is pathetic and self-defeating.

Annie,
You have convinced me. Put up a Kasich-Blackwell Ticket
Make their platform:
(1)Energy: Global Warming is Total BullShiite and we shouldn't spend a dime on it ..;. especially in Ohio.
(1a) Three new nuclear plants in Ohio, starting with their election.
(1b) Unlimited oil and gas development in Ohio
(2) Total gun rights, including CCW
(3) Crackdown on radical Mosques
(4) Roll back Taxes
(5) Free Port on the Lake
(6) No benefits for illegal aliens
(6a) Fine the people who employ them
(6b)Send them home.
(7) Cut the state payroll by 5%
(8) Clean up the state's voter rolls to end fraud
(8a)End Motor Voter in Ohio
(9) Clean up Columbus around The OSU,it's a disgrace

Do this and I'll sneak into Ohio (was actually registered in Union Cty and still have my card)) and vote early and often for your boys. That's if Deb promises not to "Beat me, strip me and bring me to her tent" ... as I am far too old for that sort of thing.
