Just thing—what other parts of the Constitution don’t exist?

At this rate, war is inevitable. It may still be 10-15 years away (though I doubt that), but it is inevitable until the Feds back down.

Thanks JSDude1!!!

Looks like the show is about to begin. Who will stand with Tennessee? Texans at least owe no small debt to some Tennessee patriots from some years ago. Remember the Alamo? You betcha!

To Tennessee and the federales, gentlemen, draw your, er, pisstols!

People have a tendency, especially those in big government, to forget that Tennesseans don't tolerate outside interference to the same extent that others might...

Hell, we don't even tolerate inside interference that well, either... For those that wonder what that means, read up on "The Battle of Athens Tennessee."

The bill to which the article refers was House Bill 1796... It was no coincidence that it bore the same number as the year Tennessee became a state: 1796. We worked hard to get that bill passed. It is a statement, a warning you might say, to the federal government - BACK OFF! While we knew that we would get the response from BATFE that we did, the purpose was to put them on notice that we will not sit idly by and let them walk on us. And I would say the we will see this tested in the courts - that was the plan. If you aren't making waves, the boat is not going anywhere.

A long time ago, when I was a little kid, I was out with my dad visiting one of his friends. The old boy had a blood hound lying out in the back yard... Well, I didn't care much for the conversation, so I decided to go play with the dog. He was old, and he was overweight, too. He also didn't want to be bothered by some 5 year old kid. But I didn't understand that... So I picked up a stick and poked at him a bit trying to get him to play with me. Well after about the fifth poke, he was up and about ready to eat me for lunch. I still don't know how I made it through the screen door without getting at least one good bite on my backside or at least a leg. Lesson learned: You can only poke an old dog with a stick for so long before he gets up and goes after you on his own ground.

So, BATFE, you just keep own poking that old dog and see what happens...

Molôn Labé! You bunch of MikeFoxtrots!

We've about had it with your disregard for the Constitution of the United States... We've seen about enough corruption in government, all for the purpose of self-preservation of the bureaucracy. You are already up to about the fourth poke of the old dog... Are you going to keep poking? Remember though... There are plenty that are better trained than you. But perhaps your big government elitist attitude won't let you admit that. So just keep on poking, and get ready for an education.

The BATF is a gang of racists and anti-Bill of Rights thugs. Is the Tennessee office still holding the annual Good Old Boys Round Up?

It is time for the Sheriff’s in Tennessee to make a statement to the BATF that they will enforce Tennessee law, and they will arrest all BATF agents who attempt to circumvent it.

An ELECTED county sheriff has more authority than a hired BATF agent.

My hope is that the Governors of all 50 states, or 57 or 58, would band together and flatly tell the Feds that if they persist in ignoring the laws and sovereignty of the States, they they will collectively revoke the peace officer status of all federal officers in their states, and they will issue executive orders directing their own sworn officers not to cooperate in the locating, apprehension, transportation, incarceration, prosecution or extradition of persons detained by federal authorities, if the persons being detained are exercising rights granted them under State laws.

This of course would make the liberals heads explode. Tough. They didn't have any problem when State and local agencies refused to cooperate with the Feds where the round up of illegal aliens was concerned.

We expected such from a tyranny that no longer lives within the bounds of its express authority…

Tyranny never lives within the bounds of any authority but its own.

Tennessee needs to wait till they can see the whites of the Feds eyes on this. That will give other states time to get the same or similar laws in place.

When the showdown happens it needs to happen all at once, in multiple states and it needs to be overwhelming. There is no sense doing this if it isn’t going to be done right. The states need to plan this out and coordinate it. They also need to plan for their response to any federal intrusion into this.

Im thinking the perfect “trigger” would be multiple high profile events (gun show, swap meet, new store, etc..) that takes FULL ADVANTAGE of the newly regained freedoms the state has insured. Something the FED’s cannot ignore, and it needs to happen in EVERY free state at the same time.

Let US pick the time, place and reason... Let US push the events and make the fedgov react to OUR agenda. We can make this work if folks are willing to put it on the line.
