I’m pretty sure everyone here understands that. Though I disagree in part as I do think some of this is personal against her. For the most part no one is biting either. Just as we didn’t when they tried to use Cheney. Just as we haven’t with their attempts to use Bush. Or DeMint. And we won’t over Sarah. This doesn’t harm her future in politics. Should she run it’l be years from now. She’s not a current office holder much longer, which takes some of the buzz out of it for average people. So far as the money goes, her supporters will just send it through another means so no loss there. LOL

Though I am looking forward to the day she’s free of office and can start sueing the hell out of thse people herself.

We need to bring to light all of her haters who are not paying or fudging on their Federal and State Income tax! We all know how the liberals/ Demoncraps think they are special and that they are exempt from paying any taxes! Truth will out!

I am glad that I am disconnected from the MSM; when I saw the headline link at the bottom of my yahoo email I shrugged it off and came straight to FR for the full storey.

I just donated my last $15 till thursday to her. I think she can use it much better than I could. To quote a FR poster here... “Smelling blood in the water, a lone barracuda swims slowly south from Alaska...”

Were it not for the fact that she is governor and a national political figure, it is unlikely that many citizens would donate money to her legal defense fund.

An ordinary citizen wouldn’t be harassed like this. It’s because of her public figure status that she got into this jam in the first place.

My own thoughts are that the ethics complaint legislation should be amended to make it known that an individual filing a frivolous complaint may be held liable for state costs, legal expenses of the targeted individual and made to understand that he is open to suit on the basis of malicious intent to harass and defame. Would that have a dampening effect on the filing of ethics violations charges? Sure. But it will keep people honest. That's what happens when laws intended for the public good are abused. What do I know? I'm not a lawyer.
