It's beginning to sink in that Obama's nationalized healthcare will lead directly to rationing, which Americans desire about as much as a case of salmonella. The president told five governors last month to avoid the term "rationing," since it might give away the game. But the word keeps popping up, so it was time for a more aggressive approach -- embracing it!

We need to get AARP involved in this. When seniors find out that their medical care will be given on a cost to the government/value to the government basis, they will oppose nationalize health care, too.

“Giving away the game”? I know the masses can’t be trusted to understand anything more complicated than words like “change,” but how can anyone not know rationing is the whole damn point? What’s the issue, after all? Talking points come in two parts:
1) Medical care is too expensive, and
2) 47 million ininsured is unacceptable.
So the government’s task is to reduce costs and expand coverage. These are, of course, opposite aims. But they have a commonm solution: ration the supply. Under normal circumstances, higher demand would mean higher prices. But not if you ignore demand and only satisfy who and what you choose.
Rationing is going to happen. It is the only solution. It is what has happened in every country that’s flirted with socialized medicine. It’s the whole damn point.
Whoever supports this plan will lose credibility asap.
