ACORN challenges law against voter registration quotas (Filed by ACLU)

The national community organizing group ACORN today filed a federal lawsuit against the state attorney general and Allegheny County district attorney, claiming that a Pennsylvania statute that prohibits paying workers to collect a certain number of new voter registrations is unconstitutional.

Filed by the American Civil Liberties Union, the lawsuit claims that the state statute has been used by District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr. to charge five former employees of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

Those people have been charged with filling out fraudulent voter registration applications and face a number of criminal counts, including forgery.

The statute being challenged by the lawsuit says that no person may make or accept payment if it is "based upon the number of registrations or applications obtained."

REMEDY Taxpayers demand an injunction that requires states immediately cease accepting so-called voter registrations submitted by ACORN, and that all current voter rolls be cross-referenced against ACORN’S lists of ‘registrations’ already submitted to nullify any and all voter frauds committed.

ACORN to Play Huge Role in 2010 Census. The potential for wrongdoing is breathtaking. ID theft is a distinct possibility ....... with the nefarious ACORN getting ahold of your strategic info. The U.S. Census is supposed to be free of politics, but ACORN, a group with a history of voter fraud, is controlling next year’s count, raising concerns about the politicization of the decennial survey. With the support of the White house (and billions of tax dollars) ACORN-—The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now is a national partner with the US Census Bureau in February 2009 to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States — currently believed to be more than 306 million people.

Most frightening is the WH colluding with ACORN to control the census——getting its hands on strategic info to be used for political purposes. Under the argu of the calculated Rahm Emanuel, census replies might be manipulated to build a permanent Dem majority. ACORN census takers will cook the books and enshrine illegal hyphanates as the “new majority” (a political goal of the Obamatons).

MESSAGE It is the obligation of US citizens (and census takers) to report an illegal alien’s presence and employment. Mr Mesenbourg must get consistent feedback. MESSAGE We demand the census provide penetrating census forms for illegal aliens. How many identities they are using, multiple precincts in which they are registered to vote, how many welfare checks, UI checks, disability checks, EITC refunds each illegal is pocketing. How many sub-prime mortgage loans they stuck US citizens with. Income from dealing drugs and other income not reported to the IRS. Specific orders they received from foreign governments -—or their agents-—to defraud the US census.

Mesenbourg would be violating the law if he did not advise census takers that it is a US citizen’s lawful obligation to report an illegal alien’s presence and place of employment. All census takers should be provided with the phone number for ICE (TOLL FREE 1-866-347-2423).

Immigration law that requires that aliens be documented for legal entry. (1) Those who sneak into the country are referred to as `entry without inspection` (EWI). (2) Others enter with legal documentation and then violate the terms on which they have been admitted by taking jobs that are not authorized or overstaying the authorized period of stay in the country.

A district judge who held another ACORN worker for trial Monday on election law violations urged prosecutors to go after the real culprit, the organization that employed him. “Somebody has to go after ACORN,” Senior District Judge Richard H. Zoller said about the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. “It’s happening all over the country. All you have to do is turn on the television,” he said, referring to voter registration fraud charges brought recently against ACORN and its workers in Nevada.

“We will,” Allegheny County Detective Robert F. Keenan promised as he wrapped up his testimony. A spokesman for DA Stephen A.
