DNC Organizing Phony Grassroots Support For Obama Socialized Healthcare Proposals !
E-mail from friend/fiend / DNC ^ | DNC

Posted on 07/22/2009 12:58:14 PM PDT by MindBender26

Organizing for America is a semi-underground DNC organizations designed to keep the Great Unwashed clamoring for more government handouts, and therefore, ensure more "love" for Obama.

They are trying to organize phony demonstrations tomorrow to show how people supposedly really want Obamacare.

This is the E-mail they sent out to Florida supporters today. Notice how the indoctrination phase, "victims" and speeches are already arranged planned and programmed. Can we all say ACORN!

EMAIL:

Friend --

Organizing for America volunteers have done amazing work over the last couple weeks -- and the pressure is working. Draft proposals are moving through Congress, and crucial decisions are expected within days. The votes will be very close, so the D.C. lobbyists are going into overdrive. With so much at stake and no time to lose, we have to take our grassroots campaign to the next level.

In Florida, that means we need to bring grassroots pressure directly to our senators. Senator Bill Nelson and Senator Mel Martinez are both crucial votes in the fight for real reform, and we need to do everything we can here in Florida to show them that their constituents are standing up to demand change.

So we've organized events outside of their offices all across the state for tomorrow -- Thursday, July 23rd -- to demonstrate support for reform in Florida. And we need you to turn out and show how widespread that support truly is.

Can we count on you tomorrow? RSVP for an event in your area.

At the events, we'll gather together, hear from members of the community who have been personally affected by the health care crisis, and learn about President Obama's three core principles for reform: reducing costs, guaranteeing choice -- including the choice of a strong public insurance option -- and ensuring all Americans have quality, affordable health care.

There are events outside of local offices all over the state -- from Miami to Pensacola, Jacksonville to Tampa -- so we can all make our voices heard.

Hope to see you out there,

Paid for by Organizing for America, a project of the Democratic National Committee -- 430 South Capitol Street SE, Washington, D.C. 20003. This communication is not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.

This is nothing more than an attempt to create a media event to supposedly show how much people really want Obamacare. How many ACORN and Black Panther types with nightsticks (such as in PA on election day) will be there?

It's not Grassroots! It's Astro-Turf!

In the actual email, the required disclosuse that this is really a DNC attempt to bully elected officials into supporting Obamacare is in VERY small type!

Back in my reporter days, when these “angry workers’ rallies” would occur in Moscow, we would describe them in our stories as “well-planned spontaneous demonstrations.”

Watch for AARP to mobilize for more generational theft. A generation that has obtained more from the public teat than any other, and they all want more because the AARP tells them they deserve more. And Democrats continue to love to stimulate themselves by playing Santa Claus with other people’s money.

Obama is still campaigning...

******

“This victory alone is not the change we seek —
it is only the chance for us to make that change.”

— President Barack Obama, Election Night, 2008

Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering communities across the country to bring about our agenda of change.

In 2008, millions of Americans got involved in the political process — many for the first time — to fight for a new kind of politics and a better future for our country. Those voices enabled a new beginning — a chance to pursue the real world change our country needs. Now it’s time for our movement to rise again, stand with President Obama, and make that promise a reality.

There are many ways to get involved:

•Joining grassroots OFA campaigns to support the President’s agenda. Online, on the phone, on doorsteps and in town halls in communities across the country, we’re building the bottom-up support that makes real change possible.
•Spreading the word to friends and neighbors about the President’s approach on the big issues facing our nation, like health care, energy and education. Nothing is more powerful than your voice in your community.
•Serving our community in ways big and small. Rebuilding America starts today.
•Connecting with other supporters to form strong local groups, ready to take on whatever challenges we face.
•Supporting leaders who share our values and are ready to carry forward the fight for change .
Our task is enormous. To succeed, we’ll need all Americans, no matter how they may have voted, to join us in the work ahead. If we set aside the old politics that have kept us apart, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.

Together, we can create a sustainable and independent clean energy economy. We can provide all American children the first rate education they deserve. And we can finally guarantee high-quality, affordable health care to every American man, woman and child.

Last November, the American people sent Washington a clear mandate for change. But when the polls close, the true work of citizenship begins. That’s what Organizing for America is all about. Now, in this crucial time, our voice once again has extraordinary power. Let’s use it.

The Current Situation
Making sure every American has access to high quality health care is one of the most important challenges of our time. The number of uninsured Americans is growing, premiums are skyrocketing, and more people are being denied coverage every day. A moral imperative by any measure, a better system is also essential to rebuilding our economy — we want to make health insurance work for people and businesses, not just insurance and drug companies.
The SolutionReform the health care system:
We will take steps to reform our system by expanding coverage, improving quality, lowering costs, honoring patient choice and holding insurance companies accountable.

Promote scientific and technological advancements:
We are committed to putting responsible science and technological innovation ahead of ideology when it comes to medical research. We believe in the enormous capacity of American ingenuity to find cures for diseases that continue to extinguish too many lives and cause too much suffering every year.

Improve preventative care:
In order to keep our people healthy and provide more efficient treatment we need to promote smart preventative care, like cancer screenings and better nutrition, and make critical investments in electronic health records, technology that can reduce errors while ensuring privacy and saving lives.

I’ve heard that ACORN and/or Soros and/or their clones pay people to post on appropriate websites (Facebook maybe? among others) to demonstrate a “grassroots” demand for something, like campaign finance “reform” (then) and probably healthcare “reform” now.

More from the OFA (AKA Barack Obama) web site:

Find a Health Care Reform
Week of Action Event Near You

When we all get together, and organize door-by-door, block-by-block, and neighborhood-by-neighborhood, we can build a movement from coast to coast.

It’s how we won a historic election — and it’s how we’ll make real, comprehensive health care reform a reality in 2009.

Congress is moving rapidly toward finalizing health care reform legislation, with crucial votes expected in both the House and the Senate within days. With so much at stake — and the D.C. lobbyists going into overdrive — we have to take our grassroots campaign to the next level.

All this week, OFA volunteers like you will be knocking on doors, making calls to neighbors, and attending public events to build the local support for health care reform we need to pass a strong final bill. If you can spare an hour or two for health care reform, this is the week to do it.
