The Blue-State Meltdown and the Collapse of the Chicago Model

This should be the moment the Blue Man basks in glory. An urbane president sits in the White House and a San Francisco liberal runs the House. But blue states are undergoing a meltdown.

On the surface this should be the moment the Blue Man basks in glory. The most urbane president since John Kennedy sits in the White House. A San Francisco liberal runs the House of Representatives while the key committees are controlled by representatives of Boston, Manhattan, Beverly Hills, and the Bay Area—bastions of the gentry.

Despite his famous no-blue-states-no-red-states-just-the-United-States statement, more than 90 percent of the top 300 administration officials come from states carried last year by President Obama. The inner cabinet—the key officials—hail almost entirely from a handful of cities, starting with Chicago but also including New York, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco area.

How long do you think it will be before the “blue” states start erecting barbed wire fences at their borders to keep their few remaining actual taxpayers inside?

Or, before they start trying to collect taxes from people living out of state based on the fact that they were born in a “blue” state?

They will have to come up with some idea. Liberal politics has always been about appeasing the hungry mob in exchange for votes. And what does the hungry mob want? In a single word, MORE!!!

Problem is, obviously, that they have succeeded far to well and the cookie jar is empty.

Interesting and useful information in this journal, Grey wiskers. Thank you for sharing these articles with us.

The blue States have been committed to their own destructive policies for so long, I don’t think there is anyone who exists anymore to offer any alternative to the voters. One party liberal rule combined with one party newspapers tend to dumb down a population because there is no valid and useful political debate and the creation of new ideas. liberals like it that way but it hurts the heck out of the dumbed down population.
