Dr. Alveda King demands abortion be excluded from health care bill

Washington D.C., Jul 23, 2009 / 05:20 pm (CNA).-

The niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will take a stand Monday with other African American pro-life leaders in Washington to demand that abortion be barred from any health care legislation.

"Our message is clear – abortion is neither health care nor a benefit. It's genocide," said Dr. Alveda King in a press release.

Dr. King is scheduled to join other African American pro-life leaders on Monday at 10 a.m. in front of the Cannon House Office Building to calling for abortion and Planned Parenthood to be excluded from the health care overhaul.

"Give us procreative reproductive rights. Repair our communities with life affirming programs. My fellow civil rights workers and I will be on Capitol Hill to say that if President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, or anyone else truly wants to reduce the number of abortions, they will not coerce Americans to pay for them and they will not subsidize Planned Parenthood, the billion-dollar business that has killed more black children than the KKK," King charged.

Right on, Mrs. King. Why don’t any of the people that idolize Dr. Martin Luther King get this?

You tell em’ Mrs. King. Baby killers are some of the biggest racists on the planet and take great joy that the black population is being slaughtered by the millions and the liberals don’t seem to care at all.

Planned Parenthood, the billion-dollar business that has killed more black children than the KKK

Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood:

"I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan...I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses...I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak...In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered." (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

I saw on Fox that a full 50 Democrat members won’t vote for ANY healthcare bill without a moral conscience clause and provision that NO public funding for abortions. Whether they mean it is another thing. Nice to see a Democratic food fight in progress, the Rosa Deluaros and Nancy Pelosis fighting members from purple districts, insisting on a slut clause allowing abortion on demand for birth control reasons paid by you and me. All we need is the Black caucus to get in the action and we can have a real donnybrook.

I'm starting to see a pattern here.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, July 2009 NY Slimes interview:

“Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

That provision alone is beyond reprehensible but scrapping only this provision still doesn’t come close to justifying the existence of the bill. It needs to be rejected outright and blow away like dust in the wind.

Congress critters need to start from scratch with legislation making health care more affordable with tort reform. They need to reduce the financial burden experienced by hospitals due to illegal aliens by requiring organizations including municipalities to abide by federal immigration laws arresting illegal aliens for deportation otherwise face fines, imprisonment and confiscation of real property per the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act.

Yet that's exactly what's in the 2008 DNC platform statement on abortion. They don't call it a slut clause (they're Democrats, there's no such thing) but it did say this:

"The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of the ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right."

Bold emphasis mine. Notice the old platform of "safe, legal, and rare" is gone.

Why the muzzie in chief would be pushing the extermination of the black race in America is rather curious.

Why that same “black race in America” would be supporting him at the 97% level is even more curious.

Dr. King and Fr. Pavone, two powerful prolife forces. I think Dr. Martin Luther King would be proud of his niece. I’m not sure why people of all races don’t get the connection between what MLK taught and the prolife stance of his niece, Dr. Alveda King. But we are lucky to have her and Fr. Pavone championing prolife causes.
