Mormons: The Most Conservative Religious Group In America
That's according to a new report from Pew, released today and based on data from the group's 2007 U.S. Religious Landscape Survey.
More Mormons (60 percent) identify themselves as conservatives than any other religious group; they also lead every other group in GOP party identification (at 65 percent)--much higher than the general population in both categories

Could very well be, but just like any other group of people there are some Mormons who are socialists, abortionists, gun grabbers, etc.

Oh, c’mon now. You know that Mitt Romney no longer believes in abortion or gun control. That’s all behind him. He gave all that stuff up when he decided to run for the presidency. Well, he gave it all up except for his love of socialism and forcing big government health care programs on people who don’t want them.
And the homosexual lobby knows it and that is why they are targeting Mormom temples to have their “kiss ins” just to irk LDS people. Proble is, evangelicals who should be voicing unity with the LDS on the gay marriage issue and all seem not to care — yet what message does that send to their members who will gain respect for Mormons for standing their ground?
Careful, Clinton is a Baptist and Obama claims to be a Protestant Christian.

I was going to post in before the trashing of mitt/mormon hater in general - but I see I am late.
I often wonder how JFK would have faired in an Internet age. What with him being catholic and all- I think catholics come in second to mormons on the bashing tho.......

Hardly - I’m no fan of his politics, I AM offended when the trashing of mitt always seem to come with some slam at his religion.
I tend to look at what a person does, not their words. I get flamed all the rime for pointing out all the non-stuff sara palin has (not) done, for example.
So, if you don’t mind, keep your ducks to yourself.
