That’s why they are trying to change the name of “Global Warming” to “Climate Change”. That way, any unusual weather can be blamed on our “carbon footprint” being too big.

I am a little worried for folks living in the north, last winter was bad but this one could be a killer.

The fruits and vegetables up here in the NE are reproducing like welfare democrats!

Natures God is fattening up the wild life for some reason, and we humans are going to have one heck of a pantry full of food.
I can't help but wonder if this year is going to be "a challenge."

Well, I grew tired of trying to grow big ones so I planted two Grape Tomato plants.

Man, I can't pick them things fast enough. I've got little red tomatoes everywhere. My neighbors shut their eyes and run when I try and offer them a bowl.

This summer reminds me quite a bit of the mid-seventies. If so, winter in the east will be very snowbound. Climate Change is such a stupid term.

That’s why they are trying to change the name of “Global Warming” to “Climate Change”.

First, they had us all dead by ice. Then, we're all dead by fire. Now, they're at a loss for ideas because the cooling off cycle has returned.

"Moderate temperature alert! We're all gonna die if we don't hand everything over to the communist right now!".
"Moderate Temperature Death" isn't frightening enough, I guess.
Back to the drawing board.

I live in north central WV (mountains), my tomatoes are about the only that looks good in my garden. We have a short season here. I hope to have some corn before the first frost. The tallest is about waist high. In my recent travels, I have only seen one field where the corn looked as it should for this time of year, near Oakland, MD

I just sent BOR an e-mail since he like to tout that he uses the weather info from Joe Bastardi’s site (the source of this story) as one of the factors in his beleif that globull warming is real.

The other is the NOAA temperature monitoring sites across the country which have lately been called into question because of their close and even direct proximity of heat sources like air conditioner compressor units, asphalt and jet engine blast zones at aome airports.

But then again, if they are located next to these things, then it must be a fact that globull warming is man-made.

But, but Al Gore said back in 2006 that we only had ten years left to save the planet from "scorching!" That means we only have seven years left to save all of mankind! Crap and Tax better pass the Senate ASAP! /HEAVY HEAVY SARC.

Hey, I think I’ve got this lefty /greenie argument pattern down! I think I’ll register at HuffPo.
+++++++++++++++++

Isn’t it sickening and infuriating that we have to figure them out, figure out their language...the illogical twits...the reason this is the case, imho, is that this country has hit a new low of apathy and ignorance...we’ve got a massive glut of it that we’re wading through, which is why we’re in this mess.

People voted, that shouldn’t have voted...bammy lied, people didn’t take any time to figure that out, and now we’ve our first marxist radical TOTUS in history...nice...

Now that we’re on the brink of falling over a cliff, perhaps the soft nuggety center of this country will WAKE UP and we won’t have to be so coy with them...and learn their more idiotic tendencies..

Please people, return to logic, facts, real science and common sense...Please...

I find it funny that as soon as temps in the west spike to about 90 degrees (it usually spikes to 100+ for ~3 weeks in July), the Weather Channel and networks start screaming “Record Heat!!!”.

When I lived in Norfolk, VA from 1990-1994, it was always 100F+ with 100% humidity from mid-May to the 2nd week in September. I don’t see anything like that now. Record heat, pffft!

And when he's proven wrong, he'll be peacefully living in a different country with billions of "green" dollars in the bank.
(He knows how to work the useful idiots. He co-ran their party for 8 very long years.)

That damn global warming! Everybody needs to reduce their carbon footprints. Thank goodness dear leader and friends passed the cap and trade bill to help save us.

Sounds like a really dumb movie - doesn’t it? One of those dumb disaster movies, that they’ve made a thousand of...oh yeah, and AlGore’s inconvenient barph and his ringing endorsement for “The Day After Tomorrow” crapola.

Meanwhile in East Tennessee, the weather is very cool and lots of rain. The drought and poor tomato crop is over. The Tomatoes are now coming in faster than we can eat them.

Having learned to plant more than necessary to assure tomatoes during the drought of August, there are many more than required.

The blight tried, but judicious spraying and covering the ground with newspaper ended the menace.

it seems that the prolonged cool might be retarding the onset of new fruit so the abundance might not be for long
