As President Barack Obama attempts to cool a heated racial row in the US linked to the arrest of a black Harvard professor, a growing conspiracy claims that he is hiding a Kenyan birth certificate, making him ineligible to serve as president.
Conspiracy theorists in the United States and far right wingers, who have begun to call themselves “birthers”, claim that Obama is not entitled to be in the White House simply because he is “foreign born”, the Daily Telegraph said.
According to the conspiracists, there is something suspicious in the absence of a photocopy of Obama’s original birth record, known as the “long form”, even as the White House has published copies of his official birth certificate -—a printed summary of his birth details, including the name of the medical centre in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was born.
The “birthers” claim that the photocopy of Obama's original birth record would have been prepared by doctors or hospital officials involved in his birth and would contain fuller details, including the address of his parents.
According to Conservative radio host George Gordon Liddy, who was linked to the Watergate burglary, Obama was in fact born in Kenya, his father's home country. He claims to have seen a deposition by the President's Kenyan step-grandmother, 86-year-old Sarah Obama, stating that the city of his birth was Mombasa, the report said. The President is therefore "an illegal alien", Liddy said.

Here is an actual Hawaii birth certificate from 1963 (the same era as Obama’s birth), which while redacted includes detailed information documenting a birth, including the name of the birth hospital and the attending physician. Beneath it is the short-form “Certification of Live Birth” offered by Obama as proof of his Hawaiian birth. It is possible to have been born outside of Hawaii and still obtain the latter form, but not the former:

Sorry to ask, but recently news sources have been stating that Hawaii only issues computer copies of the “short form” - basically ever since they went digital in 2001.

Well, we know for sure that he’s not hiding his religion...so it’s something worse.
One would think that at least one nurse, doctor or orderly would claim to have assisted in this birth. One would think there would be a baby book with pictures.

If Obama is hiding something he could easily be blackmailed to do things harmful to America.. er, it just occurred to me. He does it anyway -- so how can we tell if it's blackmail? I wonder.

A previous poster probably has it right...the reason he doesn’t want to release his BC is it reveals something embarrassing about him - like his designation by parents as a Muslim.

There are no original documents to support your assertion. The short-form Certification of Live Birth he released is not legitimate. It was digitally created and not printed out the way the real ones are. Besides, the “Certification” is the only document that Hawaii will issue to people who were bojrn outside of Hawaii.
I won’t be satisfied until I know the real truth. The onus is on 0bama to come clean. Until then I’ll presume he’s illegitimate.

Was it a photo or data image copy of the original? And are you in the same time frame of birth as obama? Because if so per CNN you shouldn't have that because that was all destroyed in 2001 per CNN
