It started in mid-May. I even told my husband that I felt there was a shift in the “force.” He looked at me like I was crazy. I love being right.

IThe MSM will be going down with them as the American people realize they’re accomplices in the destruction of our county. As the truth comes to light and reality sets in, the rage won’t be pretty.

think you are right. And the final unveiling of the MSM to the last groups of people who still watch and take them at their word (like my elderly mother) means their power will continue to tank even faster than ever, which is a great thing.

Of course Stein is on target. But, will enough democrats in the house/senate stand up to the pressure, threats or offers of money from the White House and do what their constituents want them to do! That remains the question.

I had lunch with a fairly mainstream, upscale jewish attorney the other day. Was at a predominently jewish country club which I have been to many times before with my attorney friend. We have never talked politics before, but he brought up the subject of Obama and asked for my thoughts. I told him and asked why jews could support Obama when is is going to sell out Israel.

What he then told me realy stuck with me. He told me most of the jews he knows vote on the basis of social issues and support for Israel. Most jews he knows view conservatives as anti abortion religious zealots and therefore, as long as the Dems protect Israel, their vote will be for the Dems. Then he told me he and his friends think Obama deceived them on Israel and they are very worried. The tax increases are also a big worry to these wealthy country club jews.

Bottom line is Israel and taxes will trump social issues when a lot of jewish voters go to the polls next presidential election.

The campaign process and a skeptical press used to provide just such a “test;” the problem is that they completely abandoned their role this election cycle.

To be fair, everyone in his cabinet or in other executive positions are mental lightweights.

I just googled all his cabinet members and laughed...then sighed because these people are running the country.

“Too many people are carrying on relatinships through a computer screen and cannot “read” other people any more.”

I think this holds true particularly with young people, and was reflected in the vote.

On the subject of Obama's narcissism, many of us saw it early on but obviously didn't successfully act in any meaningful way. With his weak emotional makeup and the arrested development you rightly suggest, I doubt he will suffer a mental breakdown as it isn't in keeping with his brand of over the top ego-mania.

Given the very few extreme narcissists I've met as role models, their failure to get their way when witnessed by those who matter (in this case the whole world), resulted in an uncontrolled rush to destroy folks around them...blaming them for the failure(s).

Suggest that Gibbs, Biden, Emmanuel, and perhaps Hilary may be targets. All white and all vulnerable.

Many of us had him figured out half way through the first time we heard his cotton candy, hope and change stump speech.

True. If he wasn't such a danger to the country it would be fun to watch Peggy Noonan wake up from her schoolgirl crush on him. Many of the "smart" people thought he was just going to be a left-center president, and that the radicalism of his past associations (those that we've found out about) could be safely ignored. They assumed the Ayers and Wright connections were just the usual election blather from the VRWC.

OTOH, whenever I criticize 0bama, I have to remember that we had McCain running against him. Heck, at least Zero could run a campaign. If McCain had been elected, we would be looking at two things right now. First, the same Marxist agenda would be getting pushed through congress, but the Republicans would have to run against a sitting President of their own party to prevent it from being enacted. McCain could barely manage being civil to conservatives when he needed their votes. What would he be like when he didn't need them?

Second, the Republicans would own this mess. Congress has been Rat since 06 (thanks, Denny Hastert!) but Bush owned the entire economy. Now, the Marxist squad is reduced to squealing "But think about how bad it was when Snowball was here! You don't want Snowball back, do you?" (check Animal Farm for reference, if necessary.)

You make several good points. I've mentioned here recently the debate some of us had about a year ago: what would do the more long term damage: McCain with a Dem. Congress (reaching across the aisle) or Obama with a Dem. Congress?

We are in the weeks and months now that will largely answer that question. I thought McCain would do more damage, and if Obama's major initiatives can be stopped, and the Republicans regain many seats in 2010, I think that will be correct. But it's still a close call.

It made me sick watching 0bama’s last town hall.I could not watch the whole thing. They wasted 15 minutes applauding and cheering for him like he was a movie star.
