After CNN President Jon Klein reportedly called Lou Dobbs' coverage of conspiracy theories about President Obama's birth certificate "legitimate" on Friday, July 24, Media Matters for America President Eric Burns sent an email to its thousands of online activists today asking for their help to publicly pressure CNN to credibly address its Lou Dobbs problem.
In the email, Burns writes: "Klein's caving to Dobbs raises a serious, troubling question: Who is really calling the shots at CNN?"

You got that right. I cant watch Shep the Schlep so I turn it over to CNN catch Lou during that time. He's the only show I can watch on CNN.

And why didn't they make this kind of ruckus about the "Troofers"? Going on 8 years, and the Soros Media hasn't uttered so much as a peep in protest.
Why is this conspiracy so much more egregious?
Hillary is positioning herself to be VP in 2012, so she does this favor for Obama.... but I also think she is simultaneously positioning herself to be the Presidential nominee in 2012, should Obama tank so badly in the polls (which may be happening) that he cannot run.
This is why Hillary must be seen as a raging success as Secretary of State. When she started the 'Smart Power' Tour last Spring by visiting Asia... she hardly had arrived home before N.Korea started firing missles into the Sea. Smart Power works again!. That, and numerous other gaffs, along with numerous negative stories about her being marginalized by the Obama Administration led to a 'broken arm' that took her off the hotseat long enough to restudy positions with a few allnighters and opportunity to 're-do' and 're-make' herself. How convenient. (insert smirk here!)
Afterwards, she was able to 're-emerge' as the Marxist press revealed it to us, and now has a stronger and clearer (and more Presidential) tone.
That broken arm couldn't have come at a better time! eh? These people play us so well that all Americans should have a 'right' to free popcorn.
Dobbs actually has much more say than most anchors on CNN already.
He quit CNN in the late 90s b/c he was sick of the network cutting away from his show for LIVE PRESIDENTIAL COVERAGE everytime Clinton blew his nose.
When he came back a few years later, he got a contract in his clause giving him much more autonomy over programming his hour.
CNN (and other news outlets) proved long ago whatever they choose to do has absolutely nothing to do with ratings, or even profit for that matter. To them, it's about advancing their political agendas. If it wasn't, FoxNews (as the clear market leader) would have been emulated. Instead, they program to be exactly counter to what Fox does.
If people show a preference for a certain kind of product, retailers don't stock something completely different. They either try to get that product, or they source something as close as possible. In business school, they have a name for contrarians - bankrupt.
I agree, I hadn’t really watched CNN in years until lou dobbs started talking sense recently.
Hilary's actual performance in her job as SOS is irrelevant. If she chooses to run in seven years, or sooner if Obama becomes untenable to the the Dems (unlikely), then she will be carried to victory much the same way as Obama was last year. And, just like his inexperience wasn't a problem for the press, Hilary's poor performance experience won't be either.
Somebody must be really worried....
There are two central facts about this controversy that have to be answered before it will ever go away.
First, 0bama has claimed in a WH letter and in a speech that he was born in 2 different Honolulu hospitals. So from 0bama’s own mouth, he has addded to this controversy.
Second, the Hawaii State Health Director has said that he has “personally” reviewed 0bama’s “Original Birth Certificate” and certified his live birth in Hawaii. But this contradicts media reports this week that Hawaii officials have said that the Original Birth Certificates were “inadvertently” destroyed in 2003 and all records were converted to the new online format that 0bama posted as proof of his citizenship.
You can’t have it both ways. Either you have access to the Original Birth Certificate, or you do not. Either way, someone is lying. REAL investigative journalists should be trying to discover WHAT the lie is and why!

Could you provide the source material for your claim about the speech? If you are talking about the one where he announced his run for the Presidency - it is not in that speech. You can hear it on youtube.
Don’t the libs know that Lou Dobbs got a no-firing clause from Ted Turner years ago? There is NOTHING CNN can do, which is why Klein cowered before the question.
If she has to run against Sarah Palin... she hopes to have stronger leadership and foreign policy credentials, so having anything less than success, weakens rather than helps. As Secretary of State, you either do a good job, or you fail. I am convinced that Hillary is the worst kind of political animal. Everything she does is a calculated move to advance herself, even at the expense of her party or her country.
When she was being vilified with negative stories about being marginalized and isolated by the Obama Administration, I think Dick Morris wrote an excellent article on that, for one, its interesting that within a week she suddenly 'had an accident'. If you notice, the weakened and marginalized Hillary before that accident, and then look at the empowered Hillary afterwards... I say the whole thing was cooked up as a dramatic event to result in a 'do-over'. I doubt she even scraped her elbow!
So? A legal document to liberals is a living, breathing document, subject to change at will, but only by liberals.
