Waters blames Rahm for recalcitrant Dems on healthcare @ 1:44 pm by Michael O'Brien

The White House may only have one of its top officials to blame for its difficulty in passing healthcare, one liberal California Democrat asserted Tuesday.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) blamed now-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's work as head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), during which he worked to recruit many centrist candidates, resulting in landslide Democratic victories, for difficulties facing House leaders trying to pass reform legislation.

"That may be difficult for Rahm Emanuel, because remember, he recruited most of them," Waters said during an interview on MSNBC when asked if the White House could lean on centrist, Blue Dog Democrats to pass reform legislation.

"Now the chickens have come home to roost," she added.

Waters said that the Congressional Progressive Caucus wouldn't organize candidates to run against the recalcitrant Democrats on healthcare, she could understand why those lawmakers might face primary challenges.

I was going to suggest food taster...but she’s got more than a few adversaries on the Hill. Time for her to go home, too.

Maxine is so anti-Semitic that all she can think when discussing Emanuel is “Joooooo.”

Maybe more centrist Dems should leave the party and join the Republicans. They should no better than to hang out with scum like Waters and Rahm.

It’s still early but I have a feeling as time goes on, there will be more fraying of the Demo relationship—both the Congressional Dems’ dealings with the White House, and their relationships among one another. Too many clashing personalities there. I suspect the relationships with Pelosi and Reid will become more strained too.

If Rahm can figure out that conservatives beat liberals, why can’t the Republicans figure out the same?

ROFLOL! She says this without ever considering that liberals would have less than a snowballs chance in h*ll of being elected in most districts in this country.

Yes, I feel the same way..(Pelosi vs. the WH is a prime example.) It is only a matter of time before it happens..I just wish we could throw some ‘chum’ in the water to speed things up..

8. “Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.”

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.

So, is Maxine using these two Rules AGAINST RAHM???

Maybe this one, too?
10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

She has been over stirring up trouble in Gaza. I think Israel shipped her back here though. Sure didn’t take her long to wear out her welcome there(same as here.)

Cynthia, Maxine, Sheila... makes me long for the good ol days.

“Centrist” dems. Yeah. Like Arlen Specter is a “moderate.” And Sotomayor is within the “mainstream.”

I have to wonder too, at some point when will the euphoria wear off so powerful Demo leaders start thinking why is this guy with so little experience or substance sitting in the White House while *I* deserve the job so much more?! If congressional poll numbers remain low while 0’s are at least hovering in the 50% plus range, there is going to be some envy there eventually.

If you forced yourself to watch the WH special a month ago, it was crystal clear that Rahm runs things and Odumbass is just his little puppet. Axelrod and Rahm are running the show. The P(puppet)OTUS is there in name only. What’s funny is that Rahm will be his downfall. Keep up the good work psycho man Rahm.

Love it — “kerosene Maxine” strikes again!!! That was her moniker out here in L.A. when she was active in local politics.

Taking heat for the Prez is part of the job -- and Rahm can take it. He had the right idea -- win in the middle of the road with candidates who owe you their jobs.
