Agreed. I’m pro-vaccine, but my family is passing on the Swine Flu vaccine for now. I personally can’t have it, as it’s a live virus vaccine, and I’m immunusuppressed from a kidney transplant. Even if I weren’t, I’d take my chances without it for now.

Most of the anti-vaccine guano on the internet is flat out ridiculous. I wonder how many people get sick unnecessarily because they believe the foaming at the mouth hysteria.

The internets are serious business. A lot of people believe GWB knocked down the towers with tactical nukes. Even when you spend hours debunking their crackpot theories, they disregard your sources as biased and go right on believing in the conspiracy.

The vaccine madness is just another playing card in the spokes of the internet; makes a cool noise, but doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
