As we landed and were taxiing to the gate, the senior flight attendant asked that we all remain seated until Sergeant Adam’s nephew had deplaned to perform his escort duties. When we arrived at the gate, she amended her statement to request that we all remain seated until the casket had been offloaded, and positioned herself in the aisle to ensure that her request was honored. There was some – very little, actually – grumbling, which she silenced by saying that both she and her husband were ex-marines, and she felt that this was the least we could do.

Sgt Adam Last Flight

Nice writeup by another Viet Nam Vet who did make it home.

I, too, thank the family of this hero. I'm so glad he's finally home.
