Images of two 1961 Hawaii birth certificates similar to the one President Obama purportedly has on file have now been unveiled.
The Honolulu Advertiser published photostats of the original long-form birth certificates of twin daughters born to Eleanor Nordyke at Kapi'olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital Aug. 5, 1961, one day after Obama was supposedly born at the same facility.
The Nordykes' certificates include information missing from the short-form document for Obama published online, including the name of the hospital, the name of the attending physician, name and address of the parents, the race of the parents and the race of the baby.
As WND reported yesterday, Hawaii's director of health responded to the growing controversy over the White House's refusal to release Obama's original long-form birth certificate by issuing a statement about the document in apparent contravention of Hawaiian law.

They're all certificates of live birth. Read the tops. Only the foreign born certifications are void of facts, because they don't have verifiable facts. Those born the same day have long forms, all with verifiable information included.
Please read the description of a foreign born certificate of birth in post #68, and look at the birth certificate Oboma himself is trying to pass off as his original.

This explains why the certificate number was blacked out on the COLB that was posted on the internet; the number on the form is out of order.

I meant to refer to automated documents only, not hand-prepared documents. By automated I mean documents that likely started out as 80-col cards files or 80-column card-image tape/disk files.
It is common to change field formats as hardware, time, and money permitted or need dictated. Perhaps Hawaii actually did modify the registration number by expanding YY to YYYY during Y2K corrections. They'd have to if applications needed to sort on year -- though utility sorts could recognize 19YY and 20YY in YY format, IBM MVS for example.
So a Hawaiian government computer generated COLB could maybe have the YYYY format in the registration number.
Boy! if only President Obama would deign to do as us little-people American citizens do millions of times almost daily.. release ^%&## long form b.c.

Something that I just noticed about Obama’s COLB is that the race of Obama’s father is listed as African. I don’t think the term African would be used for as a racial designation, especially in 1961. The term that would most likely be used would be Negro (sorry, I know that is a derogatory term nowadays but in 1961 that was the polite name for a black person.)
African wouldn’t be used for race because there are white people who are from Africa. Like Teresa Kerry.
But a person, especially a young person who is ignorant of history, who is used to the politically correct term, “African-American” might put down African for race on a forgery of Obama’s COLB.

They widened the number from five to six digits sometime between 1962 and 1970. All the short-form certificates have six-digit numbers. When and if we get to see Zero's long form, its file number will have a two-digit year and a five-digit sequence number, just as do the Nordykes' long forms.

It is an established fact that we haven’t seen it.
Obama’s COLB lists Honolulu as place of birth.
True OR PROBABLE. A foreign infant may not have verifiable documents to prove it's country of orign. They have to "assume."
That's why these certifications are not legally valid for citizenship identification. They don't know for sure where the infant was born.

Keep in mind that the "Certification of Live Birth" will not reflect important details such as "given name added". Incidentally, the block under 6A BELOW is reflected on Block 23 on the original Hawaiian "Certificate of Live Birth".

CBS Disregarded Experts, Challenged Laura Bush: ABC’s Brian Ross reported on the September 14 World News Tonight that “two experts hired by CBS News say the network ignored concerns they raised prior to the broadcast about the disputed National Guard records.” But over on CBS, reporter John Roberts wondered why President Bush wasn’t taking those memos seriously: “The President has yet to weigh in on new documents about his National Guard record made public last week by 60 Minutes.” Roberts also chastised First Lady Laura Bush for doubting CBS’s memos were authentic: “Laura Bush offered no evidence to back up her claim, and CBS News continues to stand by its reporting.”
Sticking By His Smear: On September 10, Dan Rather responded to charges the memos he cited as proving Bush’s dereliction were forged, telling his CBS Evening News audience that the memos were genuine and attacking any doubters as partisan rumor-mongers. “Today, on the Internet and elsewhere, some people, including many who are partisan political operatives, concentrated not on the key questions of the overall story, but on the documents that were part of the support of the story,” Rather castigated. But his lame defense ignored key challenges to the documents’ typography and content, and the doubts voiced by the widow and son of the supposed author, the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian. Instead, Rather chose to repeat his indictment of President Bush’s National Guard service. It is my understanding that a COLB is an abbreviated form of the original birth certificate, regardless of what the original says — late registration, adoption, birth out of Hawaii, etc.

Oboma is claiming the short version IS his original certificate. That makes a difference. That means maybe he wasn't born in that hospital, otherwise the original would have been a long version.
Didn't he say something about how the three methods were (a) online order, (b) mail order, and (c) phone order (or walk-in), or something like that?
I doubt it. It is most likely the date that the COLB was printed out.

As I posted on another thread, my #1 theory at the moment is that the The Dunhams sent Ann back to Seattle to have that baby, perhaps to a “home for unwed mothers” across the line in Canada.
That’s why there are no witnesses, no accounts whatsoever of her in Hawaii during the pregnancy. Nor is there any record of her and Obama every being married or living together.
That’s why she was in Seattle, as witnessed by old high school friends, in August ‘61 with the newborn and why she enrolled in school at the U. of Washington that fall.
Travel simply wasn’t as easy then as it is now, and particularly with a newborn.
Birth records are likely either in Washington state or Canada.
Somebody up there should be looking.

Where does the long form list the race of the baby? Why do you need the race of the baby when you have the races of the parents? What's the doctor to do when the kid pops out? Hold up a reflected light meter and say, "Nurse, I think you'd better put this one down as white."?
That is what I am trying to understand. For what reason was a COLB presented in place of a live birth certificate as proof of obama citizenship? Why does one even exist if they are basically a substitute or replacement for the real thing, IF obama was born in Honalulu? No reason except to cover up something as far as I can see.

I read all of those threads long ago. This thread is proporting to see something new and I don’t see it.
No, that's not an "O". As the population increased on the island due to tourism and the growth of the military bases, Hawaiian officials saw the need to add more digits.
In 1960, 632,772 people lived on the island. By 1990, the population nearly doubled on the islands to 1,108,229. The Certification numbering system adds that extra zero "0" in front of the last set of numbers to ensure a consistent numbering system through the 21st century.
The numbering system has evolved as the population has grown.
For example, in the 1920s when Hawaii was a territory, they did NOT see the need to add the year group in front of the birth certificate #, as this 1927 "Standard Certificate of Birth" shows. In 1920, there was only 255,881 people on the island. The population grew nearly 45 percent to 368,300 by 1930! They saw a need to change the numbering system to meet the growing number of babies being born on the island from the population explosion:
Air travel was much more pleasant then than now (unless you have your own Gulfstream, that is).
