Something that I just noticed about Obama’s COLB is that the race of Obama’s father is listed as African. I don’t think the term African would be used for as a racial designation, especially in 1961. The term that would most likely be used would be Negro (sorry, I know that is a derogatory term nowadays but in 1961 that was the polite name for a black person.)
African wouldn’t be used for race because there are white people who are from Africa. Like Teresa Kerry.
But a person, especially a young person who is ignorant of history, who is used to the politically correct term, “African-American” might put down African for race on a forgery of Obama’s COLB.
We're discussing a hospital clerk here, not an anthropologist.
I suspect they asked BHO, Sr., what he was, and he proudly and imperiously answered "African", wanting to be a cut above those Negro slaves his ancestors rounded up and sold to the Dutch slave traders.
