A 12-year-old girl was arrested on aggravated sexual assault charges Sunday, accused of coercing four younger children to perform sex acts on one another.
Dallas police say she told the children two girls 5 and 7, and two boys 4 and 5 that she would shut them in a closet Saturday afternoon if they didn't do as she said.

Whoever taught this 12 year old girl needs to be arrested. In Texas they are now putting 12 year olds on the sex offender registry and I think it is intentional. Some people in authority consider sex offender laws bad laws and as such they enforce them strictly because they want them repealed. This will only end when those that are in authority that pull this kind of behavior are permanently held accountable.

That’s right. She had to have learned it somewhere. Maybe SHE was molested by people she trusted. Poor girl. What a life she’s going to have if people don’t intervene and help her.

Well..., you’re going to have to arrest quite a few actors on TV then... I don’t know how well that’s going to go over...

It doesn’t sound to me as though she is. If she was molested as a young child, there could be a lot of confusion and anger.

No, it's not just males.
Perverted females feel EMPOWERED too!
It's equal opportunity to be perverted and there is NO boundary for age anymore. Isn't it grand how situational ethics and being relative has progressed?

You know, I think it is insane to put a pre-18 year old on a sexual offender registry for sending a naked picture of themselves to a friend. However, this girl is doing something far worse! We should not all have an “Oprah moment” and try to figure out why she is a victim — she may very well be a little sociopath with a desire to control and humiliate those weaker than her. I have seen this sort of thing happen in “model families” and it gets brushed under the rug because it involves a girl and not a boy.
To: LuxMaker
She made the girls perform oral sex on the boys, but “she really is a good kid.”
What??
To: Marysecretary
It’s called the internet.
To: LuxMaker
They were in the care of the boyfriend of the 12-year-old's mother. Hmm.... And there was another influence in her life earlier who's now in prison for molesting a different little girl. I don't understand how nonchalant the family is about this.

That girl needs to be in counseling, not in handcuffs. Give me a break people! We take a poor child who didn't ask to be born in our disgusting generation, raise her in a sexually saturated environment (I'm ready to throw the TV out of my house), send her to schools filled with kids whose parents don't care that the TV is producing sex-bots, put her in a broken family in which mommy's boyfriend molests her, then have her watched by another one of mommy's boyfriends (God only knows which number of “daddy” this one was), and then when she reacts to all she's known, she's in jail. This is disgusting.

Moral relativism has its place.
However, most of the time its place is in the dumpster.
Good and evil is in the hands of the beholder for a couple of issues.
However, when people attempt to expliot that belief to further their sickening lifestyle, before you know it, pedofiles will no longer be sent to jail.

Her mother was involved with a man who she “suspects” molester her daughter, but didn't get the daughter any help. The girl should be taken away from this woman and given some intensive therapy.
What a tragedy.

The girl as a victim didn’t have a choice. The girl as an abuser did, and she chose wrong. I’d rather see her locked up in a mental hospital rather than a prison, but either way...would you want your kids going to school with her?

I have to agree.
She likely got it because of her past abuse. She didn’t know any better.
Give her counseling, not a sex offender title.
That’s saying something since I normally would call for jail or worse for adults or even older kids.

Seems a little extreme to change our whole society for this girl, and the relative few that do this sort of thing. Why not just deal with it on a case-to-case basis? It would be a lot more efficient, cheaper and less time-consuming than changing our society.

You are right. If she were 16 or older, she should be in jail. But, at 12, she's only reenacting what she's learned throughout her life and we are for the first time in human history (ever since the 1960’s) turning out generations worse than our own.
It used to be, if dad's generation didn't have any high-school graduates, the family's pride was turning out kids that graduated. Then that generation went further and turned out kids that made it to university, and so on. Since the 1960’s (the so-called moral revolution) we are seeing generations getting worse and worse. Raising children isn't to have good children, it's to create good adults that further your genetics further into the future.

Notice that the only mention of this girl’s mother and aunt describes “boyfriends” instead of husbands. Apparently the mothers of at least 2 of the families involved in this disgraceful incident are single mothers. This 12 year old has ovserved this behavior somewhere — you don’t think this up by yourself!
I think back at how I spent my 12 year old summer. I teamed up with a slightly younger neighbor (a girl with diabetes who needed ‘watching’ but who was too old for a babysitter) and we created a marionette theater, puppets, stage sets,, and wrote a show that was performed for our parents to a recording of the Peer Gynt Suite.
The rest of my time was spent setting up a chemistry set in my bedroom. I built a shelf for all of the glassware, but my parents would not allow me to perform experiments there, which was a disappointment. Washing all of the flasks and equipment and arranging them on the shelves amused me for weeks.
Then, I coerced my mother into money for fabric and I sewed a new bedspread, pillow shams, and covered a chair for my bedroom.
What has happened to childhood?
To: LongElegantLegs
The girl as a victim didnt have a choice. The girl as an abuser did, and she chose wrong. Id rather see her locked up in a mental hospital rather than a prison, but either way...would you want your kids going to school with her? Imagine you were born on an island and everyday on TV you watched arson being committed. Then, at an age in which you're still learning what the world is about, some man takes you to set a house on fire and your mother looked the other way (dad was absent and your only daddies were whoever mom was dating at the time). Then, before you even become a teenager, you set a house on fire because - in your learned-moral system (which is nurtured, not natural) - you thought it harmless and not immoral because it was how you were taught. Would it be your fault, or would it be the parent's fault(and somewhat the sick, arsonist society's fault that you were raised in)?
That poor girl doesn't need jail or an institution. She needs a new home that will take the time to watch her, raise her, teach her, and care for her in a stable and moral environment.

It doesn't matter whose fault it is, do you want that person living near
your house?
I hope that this girl gets help and gets normal, but why should she be allowed to roam free, hurting other children, just because we feel sorry for what she's been through? Should she be put into a foster home, to abuse other children?
Should she be allowed to continue on at home, and go to school, and have contact with other people's 7 year olds, as long as she gets an hoour of 'therapy' every week, assuming her mother will actually make sure she goes?

It’s our society that has brought it to the point of where these things are happening with the kids. They’re being trained by our society to think and act in this manner. If you don’t think it stems from our society, then there’s not too much I can do in helping you understand the situation...
