WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. military wants to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials.
The proposal is awaiting final approval from Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
The officials would not be identified because the proposal from U.S. Northern Command's Gen. Victor Renuart has not been approved by the secretary.
The plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. There is no final decision on how the military effort would be manned, but one source said it would likely include personnel from all branches of the military

What I failed to grasp when I first heard that the military might be involved is the interpretation found in this article. The key phrase that brought it home for me was this: “Sounds like a made up crisis in order to get the military involved and in place for future ‘happenings’”.
Given the groundswell of tea parties taking place and the blowback Oboobma is getting from the American people, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if this is what’s really going on.
As I’m writing this and considering the title “Execution Orders”, I’m reminded of the scene from Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith where Darth Sidious says “Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order 66”. And thus began the Great Jedi Purge. So, with Oboobma playing the part of Darth Sidious and Gates the part of Commander Cody, that would leave those of us willing to stand up to this oppressive figure as the Jedi that must be “dealt with”.
A little over the top, perhaps. But I find the parallel both interesting and downright frightening.
Here in NJ, 15 deaths so far. Among them were children and adults in all age ranges, and not all had underlying medical conditions. I agree with you that we should be concerned. Then again, this is just the type of crisis that a power-hungry president and politicians could use to gain more government control.
Interesting. I did not know that. We have to be vigilant no matter who’s in power. The Dems are absolutely frightening, but sometimes the GOP does the wrong thing, too.

You’re right. I think the obama/emmanuel rule of not letting any crisis go to waste makes this flu season especially dangerous. WHO has already declared it a pandemic...death rates start to escalate in the fall we could see 0 impose a national state of emergency...or worse. Who knows...he’s a dangerous man. I’m just saying we shouldn’t pretend that the flu is all hype. It’s not.
All the hysteria, boy there’s some hysteria mongers among FReepers too. I refuse to be among those. If you were a kid in the 50s then you darn sure know the fear of POLIO, now there was a real concern. Yet, my parents didn’t collapse into a melted heap if I didn’t feel well, they were not part of they hysteria crowd but they did take precautions without wringing hands and hoping the government would declare martial law and come swooping in to haul us away.
We lived on the Texas border and periodically there would be a quarantine on the border because of various outbreaks of communicable diseases in Mexico, gee ya reckon that’s also an option? Naw, might be racist...

Yes, they are. However I was informed by fellow Freepers that it was ‘tin-foil hat’ crazy to think anything was wrong with that because it was just that it was EASIER to build ‘camps’ on military bases because they already owned the property.

I can't help but wonder if they know its a false flag.
Maybe some one high up in the military wants to preposition, so they can stop this vaccination program?
