After the not-so-subtile attack on birthers over the last week by the Obama lapdog media and MoveOn crowd, it is clear that the battle lines are drawn. The original birth certificate is THE wobbling cornerstone in a feeble house of cards.
Anyone who has ever been deceived knows that when the accused is confronted with the truth, the screaming gets louder, the accused attempts to become the accuser, a the facts are obfuscated in any way possible. In short, the accused tries to take control of the argument.
We're faced with a President who is doing the irrational...spending hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars preventing us from seeing what he alleges to be the same (the Birth Certificate) as the Certification Of Live Birth that he has already provided. If it contains the same information, what is the problem, sir? You doth protest too much!
We don't know what the issue is, but there is something particularly incendiary on the original Birth Certificate that may start a fiery information avalanche.
All the signs are there...missing documents, obsession with sealing documents and records, allegations of tampering with records, repeated denials, contradictions, and facts that just don't seem to add up. Anyone who has followed this situation and has an ounce of intellectual curiousity has to question just who is this person, and how did he get to where he is?
Stand fast, birthers, we are under assault because they must know that this battle is the pivitol one. We have a right to know who is occupying the top office in the land, and we have a right and an obligation to use the laws of this country to force the truth if it is not provided to us.
Excellent post. I am not going anywhere until this issue is resolved and all of Obama’s records are released for every person in this country to see.

To me, that tells me all I need to know about this pond scum sh!tbag and his reprehensible, vicious, thuggish handlers.
So do we all, but that BC business will probably have to be left to the historians. He has family skeletons in his closet as well as purely private ones, and public ones. It doesn’t mean that we have a right to know them all.

The birth announcements in the newspapers mean absolutely nothing.
Most likely Stanley Ann’s parents phoned them in, something which is frequently done. It’s not the kind of thing that a newspaper would bother to check, beyond the fact that these were family members who were reporting it.
It is also possible that the two announcements were forged. They can only be seen on microfilm in a library in Hawaii, and we know that they had been taken out by interested parties. Those were Hawaiian newspapers, and it’s unlikely that there are more than a few microfilm deposits anywhere. Maybe the Library of Congress—though that is doubtful. Maybe the newspapers’ morgues. Maybe one or two libraries in Hawaii. It wouldn’t be hard at all to fake the evidence—which has been plausibly argued in several websites.
But if you went into a DMV office or a passport office and offered something like that as evidence, they’d laugh you right out of the place. By itself—without hospital records or original documentation—it proves absolutely nothing.
Finally, several investigations have suggested beyond reasonable doubt that Obama’s family never lived at the address given in the newspaper announcements.

The obvious suspicion is the identity of his father, and from that point all his associations. He has benefited, very curiously, from much charitable support his whole life (well, after the age of 10), from his Hawaiian private school to his college tuition and admissions.
If so, it's just one more thing on a long, and growing, list. The GOP is moribund. It it were a patient the family would be rushing to the bedside, turning the house upside down looking for the will, checking out headstones and the priest would be making his way to the patient's side.
The stakes in this are huge. Some things are big enough that other considerations have to take a back seat to them. If demanding that someone in the Oval Office prove he or she is eligible to be there damages one Party or the other then so be it. We have steadily moved away from the Constitution since the Great Depression. This is a matter that the Constitution addresses directly, black and white and in no way open to discussion. If we can turn our country upside down when the Supreme Court ‘discovers’ a right to privacy, and therefore abortion on demand, the certainly we can do as much for this matter.
The Constitution says it, the responsibility for problems arising from a segment of the population asking for affirmation falls on the one who refuses to provide the documentation, not those who stand on constitutional grounds seeking it.
Something is wrong, and we not only have a right to look to identify it, but a constitutional obligation to do so. If Obama and his people are unhappy about the whole thing they should take it up with the Founding Fathers.

On the contrary, this issue is a distraction from more relevant matters that are also hidden. It is bad messaging from our side to be obsessed with this one irrelevant detail when there is so much else to bring out.
