Skeptics of Palin who say she is tainted from her previous association with McCain are wrong. The 2008 campaign is history and Palin is her own person now. Now’s the time to move forward, and not look back and engage in the very same second-guessing that the media wants us to do (i.e. “She needs to ‘do her homework’ on the issues”....”She’s ‘not ready’ she should run for the Senate” *UGH*...”She’s a quitter...”) In fact, I would say that being selected for Vice-President is a huge accomplishment in itself considering the lack of length of time she spent as Governor (even though she accomplished everything she set out to do) and doesn’t diminish her in the least. Go Sarah!

Josh, have you heard about any public events for Palin while she’s in the LA area?

Will she let Greta in?
Greta’s one of the few who treated her with any decency.

Sarah herself has not confirmed that she is attending, so I am waiting for official confirmation from her. It’s looking like she will attend but her spokespeople have still not confirmed it. Tammy Bruce and John Ziegler will also be in attendance. I really really hope Sarah goes, from what someone posted on twitter, if she does attend, Michael Reagan will be introducing her, how AWESOME is that!

You bet they will report on it so they can make up lies and I bet they have bought tickets to do just that.

Oh, blast!! We’ve been to the Reagan Library three times. It’s a beautiful place. We would have happily driven down again to see Sarah.
To: RebelYell1990
shame, I am only 20 minutes away, looks like an exclusive event.
Nope, I'm going, put my $300 down and was able to get one of the seats for non-members of the Simi Valley GOP Womens group.

Good for Sarah Palin...smart move for the republican women...the misogynic MSM press will be in a paranoic frenzy! :)

Palin, the self-described hockey mom turned politician, is slated as our expected guest on Aug. 8 for a 50th anniversary gala hosted by the Simi Valley Republican Women, Federated, a nonprofit group of GOP volunteers, according to an e-mail from the groups president Peggy Sadler. An accompanying notice states bluntly: No press or other media allowed. Ohhhhhh I love this. I bet the media is gnashing their teeth & frothing at their mouth in outrage over not being given access to this event, and then rushing to print a bunch of lies & garbage over what Sarah Palin said or the genuine enthusiasm & admiration people have for this lady.
Go Sarah Go!!! Kick 'em in the other.....knee!!!

I love what you've stated on your profile page.
It is obvious that you see in Sarah Palin what you had seen in Ronald Reagan. She'll be our first female POTUS, no doubt at all about that. It's only up to her to determine when that will be.
