Not long ago on FOX, someone (might have been Beck, I’m not sure) played clips of Obama saying that black Americans will “disproportionately” benefit if “we fix health care” and make college more accessible (because blacks disproportionately lack the funds to access these amenities).
It is fair to ask why a president thinks in terms of disproportionately benefitting one group of Americans over another.
I guess all those sermons from Reverend Wright just kind of ‘kicked in’ and he blurted out what he really thinks about white people and the authorities.
After all, Wright did preach hatred to the man and his family for 20 years… So his response was no surprise at all. In fact, every question he’s asked has a pre-written answer, so his response was actually thought out. That’s the scary part.
Actually — two things here (in regards to this and what you were saying, too)...
One — is that I do think some who put up websites are expecting money, even when they say they aren’t. And then, when it doesn’t work out, they will shut down...
Two — I also think that there are a lot of “cheap bastards” out there (using his words... LOL...) and even if they think someone is a “patriot” and “don’t take it down” and “we should get the birth certificate” — most people *stop* at the checkbook... LOL...

You make a valid point. Unfortunately the ‘tribes’ have fallen for the welfare, ‘victim’ mentality. I would like to remind the race baiters like Obama, Wright, Gates, Jackson, etc. that blacks got the right to vote in 1870. Native Americans got it years later, after women, in 1925.
My grgrgrandfather, a Cherokee, was a lawyer,a constitutionalist, an educated man named after James Madison, who wanted nothing more than to be an “American” with ‘equal rights’. He was born in 1826, died in 1915...88 years in this country and never got to vote.

Yesterday there was an article about the first Native American US attorney, who has just been replaced. With all this clamoring about the ‘wise Latina’ being the first Supreme Court Justice, it does become annoying. I guess the Injuns just haven’t learned to whine and demand and intimidate like the blacks and hispanics have...yet.

I lived on a reservation once in New Mexico.
It was good intentioned BIA people trying to help people
who had forgotten how to help themselves.
It was adult males taking their government
check and spending it on alcohol and prostitutes.
It was young school age children wearing only a sweater
when the weather was under 30 degrees.
It was a lot like the people in New Orleans expecting
the government to rescue them. Yet all they had
to do was get in their car (paid for by welfare
entitlements) and drive out of town to higher ground.
Hi Jo... of course if we “all got our due”... according to the Bible, we would all be dead right now, from God’s righteous judgment...
Of course, God could have been giving those Indians their righteous judgment, too, as a people, in regards to their ways... (can’t say for sure, but I do suspect it)...
But, it is clear that God did bless the beginnings of this nation and set it up for his purpose.
However, things may now be turning around in that this nation, itself is receiving judgment from God, just like the Indians did, so maybe it will come around to us, too — until we have national repentance...
BUT, this idea of “getting their due” — is crazy, because there is no such thing, in terms of making up for something in the past. If one considers it being the judgment of God, there is nothing to make up for...
That’s why people put advertising on the blogs, no?

Perhaps a lot of it is in trying to maintain a culture that is dead and rotting and there is no bringing it back, and there are no jobs and there is no economy and there is no vitality and there is nothing to look forward to... ummm..., come to think of it, that might drive me to drinking too...

But it's something you really can't change, and is the most obvious of group identity features, before everything else.
So you're right, on an intellectual basis, his attitudes make no sense. But on an emotional basis, it's all that he really has. If he were visibly White, where would he be? Would he have gone to Harvard?
We all know the answers. He would have maybe ended up as a decent attorney in Honolulu or worse, Wichita. His elocution is matched by hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions (I mean, hit a car lot or two and have the salesguys chat you up...).
So he really is pathological: psychopathy in it's attenuated version is described as malignant narcissism.
And that's who he is. Have him take a PCL-R test...the results would be terrifying. Note the traits in Factor 1a...
