Obama's revealing body language
The American Thinker ^ | July 31, 2009 | Thomas Lifson

Posted on 07/31/2009 4:01:35 PM PDT by shoptalk

This picture truly is worth at least a thousand words:

After beers

I am stunned that the official White House Blog published this picture and that it is in the public domain. The body language is most revealing.

Sergeant Crowley, the sole class act in this trio, helps the handicapped Professor Gates down the stairs, while Barack Obama, heedless of the infirmities of his friend and fellow victim of self-defined racial profiling, strides ahead on his own. So who is compassionate? And who is so self-involved and arrogant that he is oblivious?

In my own dealings with the wealthy and powerful, I have always found that the way to quickly capture the moral essence of a person is to watch how they treat those who are less powerful. Do they understand that the others are also human beings with feelings? Especially when they think nobody is looking.

I think this photo constitutes another major Obama blunder.

As some American Thinker commentators point out, this picture becomes a metaphor for ObamaCare. The elderly are left in the back, with only the kindness of the Crowleys of the world, the stand up guys, to depend on. The government has other priorities.

One of the major subtexts of the health care debate involves the public's fear of indifferent, powerful bureaucrats ruling their lives. It is one thing to wait in line at the DMV to find out which other line you should wait in, in order to begin the process of waiting for multiple bureaucrats to go through the motions of processing your request. I have spent entire afternoons going through this process.

Read the rest here.

Well Obama > Mohammed > Jesus right? I mean why would such a magnificent man, the greatest of all men to walk the planet, the Alpha and the Omega, the bearer of fairness and wisdom stoop to helping a poor serf down some concrete steps. He has more lofty things on his mind, like well everything else. he has appointed an astronomy czar to make sure the Sun is renamed The Sphere of Obama, giver of warmth and light. I think I saw a statue of Black woman holding two young girls one in each arm, eerily like The Virgin...hmmmm coincidence?

Interesting that at the White House blog , this photo is posted without any accompanying text (in contrast to numerous other entries with enough textual spin to rotate the planet).

Wonder if they'll remove this photo - I don't think it's helpful to their man.

Gates is probably going to claim police brutality and claim Crowley twisted his arm.

PS....It's obvious who the real racist is in this picture.
It isn't the professor, nor is it the police officer.

One of the marks of a malignant narcissist is that he doesn't even recognize what a photo like this reveals about himself. Once again, it is also evident that he has managed to surround himself with incompetent idiots in the White House. He just assumes that people will love any kind of glimpse they can catch of him.

And the blind narcissism seems to extend to his handlers, as well. No other way to explain why they would post this on the official web site.

It's not the first time they've done it, either. How about that photo of Obama leaning back in his chair in the oval office, with his feet on the historic desk, as he phones the Prime Minister of Israel and symbolically shows him the soles of his shoes? That was also an official photo, displayed on the White House web site.

Almost every photo I can recall of GWB with an elderly or disabled person has HIM giving aid or an arm. I’ll never forget Nancy Reagan clinging to GWBs arms as he walked her to a podium.

Bush has more class than Obama

I believe the WH sees it differently. BO intervention worked - Crowley came to his senses, feels guilty and helps - instead of hindering - Gates. BO is so great - it only took one beer to have the two holding hands. How’s that for spin.

I am STUNNED and OUTRAGED at this picture. I simply cannot believe what I am seeing. As a person who assists my mobility impaired mother, I simply cannot comprehend that calloused arrogance of this man.

I thought a moment about whether or not I want to say the following, but I do want to say it, and so I will.

God Bless Officer Crowley and Professor Gates.

God Damn Barack Obama.

I am assuming that is a watch on Zero’s left arm. Wonder what happened to the bracelet he wore during the campaign with the name of the fallen soldier on it.
If he had been wearing that in this picture I would have to reevaluate my opinion of the AH now I don’t have to.

Ask and ye shall receive:

An absolute class act despite some of his un-Conservative actions. I'll take GWB to BHO ANYDAY!

The pic of the Sgt. and the Prof. warms my heart for some reason, if for no other reason than the fact that BHO shows is true colors.

Pardon my language, but our President is an asshole.

I didn’t care much for my ex-girlfriend, but I would gladly help her in anything she needed and give her comfort or shelter if she needed it.

The fact that ObeyMe refers to this man as a friend, yet the “evil white man” helps him at the White House is a testament to the absolute callous this Imposter-In-Chief has for humanity.

Liberalism is the Science of Arrogance.
