Ever imagined waking up to Dolly Parton fixing your breakfast?

One Parton fan will get the chance to attend a barbecue at Parton's home, tour Parton's private residence, spend the night in Parton's guest cottage, and wake up to a meal prepared and served by Parton herself.

The evening at Parton's digs will be one of the items up for auction at the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation's annual Evening of Elegance fundraiser, which will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Mills Auditorium in Gatlinburg. The event will include both a silent and live auction, with the Parton package as the highlight of the live auction.

The Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation was founded in 1983 to expand the quality of health care in Sevier County. Part of the foundation's current goal is funding the construction of the new Mount LeConte Medical Center, scheduled to open in 2010. The foundation was named in honor of the longtime Sevier County doctor who delivered Parton and many other children born in Sevier County during his lifetime.

Perfect example of how good hearted people who have money will use some of their money to voluntarily help others.

That outfit she wore in “Last Little Whorehouse in Texas” could work.

This has to be one of the breast charity auction items I’ve ever heard of.

Guys, let’s put on the brakes here.

Dolly Parton is a lovely lady, but she’s 63 now.

Dolly Parton is good people. She has exceeded all expectations of what she could accomplish and has stayed true to her roots.

You have got to remember one of the best moments on Late Night Television when Johnny Carson spoke for Red-Blooded men everywhere when he said "I would give about a year's pay to peek under there!"

Dolly Parton with Johnny Carson, 1977

Dolly - We all love you. You brought many of us great times. Johnny just had to address the very nice elephant in the room.

True beauty is ageless. You do realize, elcid1970, that you are going to probably hear from some feminine FR’s of a certain vintage. For me,(and I’m 48) I’d take Dolly over some 20 something young thing any day of the week. A lot of women simply get better with age.-—JM

The twenty year old would be an attractive gal? Sorry, women don't get that better with age. Give me the young gal.

As a Tennessee boy who loves within an hour of Sevierville I can tell you that she is a wonderful person. She is loved in this State. There is so much that she does for her community that no one hears about because she doesn't make a big deal out it. She is one talented, generous and beautiful lady.

Dolly Parton is one of the great voices and great songwriters of our time, and by all the evidence, a truly sweet person.

I’m sure the fortunate auction-bidder will have a terrific time as her guest.
