Barack Obama's birthday is Aug. 4, and I hereby urge the president to bestow a party favor on the nation that elected him: a verifying look at the original "long-form" version of his birth certificate.
It's important to grasp the weird fact that this simple request, requiring nothing more than a nod of the presidential head, ranks as fightin' words to American journalists. Right wing, left wing, these ladies and gentlemen of the Fourth Estate seem to want nothing less than to gain access to the one piece of evidence that could lay the "natural born" issue to rest once and for all.

And why not? It is no accident that history and literature are replete with rocky tales of doubtful succession, of the maladjustment brought on by pretenders to thrones. None of this is healthy, not the president's suspicious secrecy and not the MSM's protective incuriosity. It almost seems as if someone has something to hide.

Barry is waiting for his forgers to “age” the new forgery BC via intense light or chemicals.
I’m willing to wager lunch at McDonalds that releasing the original BC will show us something that Obama doesn’t want us to know.
Both he and his mother played fast and loose with Social Security numbers, I think birth and immigration records are no different.
- Did his original BC acyrately reflect his actual father and his vital statistics?
- Does his BC show a doctor’s name and a hospital?
- Did he update his BC to reflect his name changes over the years?
- Does his amended BC indicate his adopted status and his return to Hawaii?
- Have his citizenship issues while in Indonesia been reflected in amendments to the original BC?
There are many more possible “traps” in what is certainly a complex upbringing (please add to this list) and it seems highly unlikely that everything was handled legally, whether by comission or omission.

This is not a unreasonable thing to ask for since being a "natural born citizen" of the US is a constitutional requirement for the job of President. It's not hateful, and it's not racist.
Proving that you are should be an honor.

The issue might not be that it shows he is not a natural born citizen but that HE FLAT OUT LIED about something, or that his mother/grandmother committed some type of document fraud for the purpose of defrauding the government. A possible welfare cheat.

Could be. If a child is legally adopted, the name of the new parent(s) is added to the BC, for him/her/them to become the legal parent(s). As Lolo Soetoro adopted him in 1967, the birth certificate could have been amended.
Maybe the BC lists those three small birthmarks shaped like sixes.....

I would think the pressure is huge from allies of the US. For instance, IDF is probably very nervous about hitting Iran thinking that they would be on shaky ground with no backing should there be a Constitutional crisis at the White House in times of need.
I find it very interesting & peculiar that folks like Ann Coulter find nothing curious about the extreme efforts to hide something that should be so mundane.
I also see something of a strategy in their own efforts to paint those of us that do, as kooks.
Also, has anyone else noted that they are working very hard to make the entire issue as strictly “natural born”? They never address the notion that there are plenty of other embarrassing things about his history that could be responsible for all of this secrecy. And they never mention the lock down on the variety of [usually] ordinary records throughout his adult life.
It isn’t rocket science. Something sticks to high heaven. We just don’t know what it is.

I think the reason for non-compliance could be...after the birth certificate people would start asking for college grades...and LSAT score...

When he was adopted, his name changed to Barry Soetoro.
When he came back to the USA, as far as we know, he never legally changed his name or renounced his Indonesian citizenship.
I believe he is still, legally, Barry Soetoro, Indonesian citizen. I think this is in the long form BC document.
To apply for an SSN number as an adult, B Obama would have to show a BC with a name of B Soetoro. Hence the SSN issue.

I don’t think the Soetoro adoption was legally recognized by the State of Hawaii. However, if it was, they would still have the original BC before it reflected the change of parentage...it would be sealed though and require a court order to release it.
He is hiding something...it may not be enough to make him not constitutionally qualified, but it might be enough to hurt his credibility as POTUS. This would make him a lame duck.
Or, it probably would cause more questions than answers. So, POTUS Obama being a lawyer knows this, so he hides it. It is really difficult to know what he is hiding or if he really is hiding anything.....he could just be incredible arrogant.

Whereas there is no evidence of the intention of the Framers or any Congress to limit the constitutional rights of children born to Americans serving in the military nor to prevent those children from serving as their country's President;

United States Naturalization Law of March 26, 1790 states"the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens".
According to the US Senate resolution, Obama is NOT a natural born citizen, because his father was NOT a US citizen.

the birth cert issue alone makes the great waygu a one termer because during the next election cycle all smart candidates will start their campaign with a press conference displaying ALL of their birth records, school transcripts, marriage etc...barry will be compelled to show his cards....
The American people deserve to see Obama’s original long form birth certificate. He’s already told us that he is hiding something by spending over a million dollars in legal fees to keep it hidden.
