This was lost opportunity for GOP (and GOP presidential hopefuls).

How about Sarah Palin traveling to Honduras, on “fact-finding mission”, meeting with various political leaders, and religious/business leaders and American citizens there.

This would be massive media event and boost for Honduras.

This should be humble learning mission, no strong statements or overtly political recommendations needed (as the trip itself would be a strong statement).

Foreign policy is one weakness for Palin so she should gradually improve her credentials in this area.

So we have Honduras standing up against the totalitarian goals of Obama and Chavez combined. The world turned inside out.

Roberto Micheletti is the Cheney of Hondorus. With iron courage and a clear mandate from the government and the people he stands against the Marxist tyrades of every national leader from Obama to Chevez and Castro.
Hondorus’ actions represent the very best of America in their insistence on remaining a republic and a democracy. Obama is not simply on the wrong side of this conflict. He is advocating for tyranny.

Good for Micheletti. If Honduras’ Constitution states that a president cannot seek another term on penalty of removal from office and being expelled from the nation, then that’s the law. I honestly don’t know why other nations can’t understand Honduran point of view on this.

Of course that fails the test of understanding that basically the whole world has turned into a socialist cabal looking more like the Soviet Union every day.

The OAS has lost it’s credibility in total. It’s basically the Cuban/Venezuelan mouthpiece. So be it, but I’m certainly not going to forget it.

As for our nation, LOL, we can’t even keep our house in order. If this world were right side up, the OAS would be demanding Obama be booted from office.

Sick, that the USA under this bastard Obama, might seek to impose starvation on them.

Reuters and Yahoo and all the MSM just can't give it a rest...de facto leader

He is the constitutional leader...put in place by the Supreme Court and Legislature, replacing a traitor to Honudras who was attempting to usurp and over throw their constitution.

God bless them for standing strong.

IMHO, here is the telling thing about what happened in Honduras. EVERY Marxist in the Western Hemisphere is against it, including the Obama who is arm-and-arm with his marxist friends, Chavez and Castro on this.

That tells you that what the Honduras military did at the request of its Supreme Court and w/support from its legislature was correct, and avoided a move by Marxists in that country (led by the President and one member of the legislature) to circumvent the Honduran constitution and entrench marxism in Honduras.

Bravo for the Hondurans...down with Obama, and his marxist dogma and ideology!

Look at this great quote from Micheletti:

"I feel like we have a huge responsibility. We want to continue with the dialogue, we want to continue to seek peace and tranquility in our country, but we do not accept intervention by anybody, especially not from the Communists of the 21st century"

No wonder Obama and Hillary hate him.

Of course, they take their cues from the braying asses at Foggy Bottom. I waver between ascribing that to intellectual laziness or actual malevolence.

Good for him. He’s in the right and 0bama really put his foot in it by supporting the ousted president-dictator.

I think 0bama saw himself in Zelaya.

You would be right on both accounts.

Go Micheletti!

I agree, I think Obama’s support for Zelaya is just giving us an indavertent peek into his mind and future plans. I also think that if by some miracle we found a legal way of getting rid of Obama, such as court proceedings determining that he did not meet the constitutional qualifications, he’d refuse to go.

But then maybe after we kicked him out he could go and join Zelaya in a tent at the border somewhere...

Just this morning, on another thread, I heard what I believe to be a great idea. Sarah Palin should make a fact finding trip to Honduras.

The MSM could not not cover this.

Yes, on this thread too (post 4, from our FRiend heiss). It is a fabulous idea. I hope one of her underlings (or Mrs. Palin herself) gets wind of it and at least gives it due consideration.

Cheney very good to us, or Bush. Big military bases, massive American investments. We not lose this. Canada want our produce, they have oil. Price of gas drop to $1.50 gallon now, very good for us. Also Brasil have good partner with us. We seek new arrangement with Democratic countries. We have much produce, much organic not spray very good soil, and many factory that make clothes, parts. We have refineries. Nothing that Mel said would happen happen. All is fine, all is better. To hell with OAS, NAFTA, ONU (Naciones Unidos) and rest they not help. Why OAS not intervene with Venezuela, they just close all radio and TV stations that disagree - so Telemundo and Univision combine worldwide and now will broadcast over border on purpose from Colombia, Uruguay. Obama, Clinton stay away you friend of communist we not want you here. You apologize to world for everything wrong, why not apologize this. I get copy of all “state department” briefings and is 100% upside down, Alice en Wonderland miror backawards everything. How can so many politicos have cabesas so far up (butts)?
