Now is the time to start calling Maher a racist for his attack on Native people. Start a recall petition. Stand in his audience and question his intelligence. File a charge with some civil rights commission. Call what he said a “hate crime.”

The time has long passed to be nice to these people. Personalize him; polarize him; and do the same thing to him that he wants to do to Sarah Palin. He’s got more money than Sarah, so he should be able to put up with it.

Unfortunately, Maher is exempt from the charge of racism here because his targets are considered less equal than others.
